i dont think RE5 would be a good stick to measure 3d by, because it wasn't designed with 3d in mind, but then shoehorned into the game at a later date. games like KZ3 will be developed with 3d at the beginning, so you'll have all the 3d visual "tricks" like bullets whizzing by your head and grenade shrapnel flying out of the screen, whereas RE5 is just like, whoo-hoo. . . RE5

would just be that 3d can make a game more immersive. not any better, just making you feel one step closer to being there. having a missle shot at you in an fps would be business as usual, but the missle flying past your head in 3d would be sweet

GOTY should push the boundaries of game design, and although the game definately raised the bar graphically, it played it safe as far as the gameplay goes. i think alan wake took more risks gameplay wise, and that should be recognized.

i figure if i go into it expecting crap, i'll actually have alot of fun with it. i remember ign's reviews for god hand, and i LOVE that game.

what ever happened to the one game they had coming out years ago called "dead rush" i remember it was a zombie open world game, and you could customize vehicles, and stuff, and zombies would hang on to your car as you drove. i think it was in an old game informer or something. that game sounded way better than "more of the same" COD

developers around, and i am so glad that more people can buy their awesome games. they seem to pour their heart and soul into the work, as evident in the finished products, and its great that more gamers who love games can support them. there is very few in the indusrty now who strive for excellence in games, i.e. butter smooth 60 fps on Ratchet, to 30 vs 30 online battles in resistance. i only hope that they are successful in whatever route they take.
