It is not that hard to believe actually. I have a co-worker who is on his 5th Xbox 360.
People might *need* to find a cheaper way to live. People might *need* to find a cheaper way to eat. People might *need* to find a cheaper method of transportation. What people do not *need* is a cheaper way to game. People may *want* a cheaper way to game, but that does not justify piracy.
Being poor does not excuse piracy. Just because you cannot afford a luxury does not mean you are entitled to it.
I see that he did not actually use the word "b word". He used another logo.
But it is not a bad word, especially considering the context. It is a perfectly acceptable word to reference that particular part of human anatomy. This is a case of overzealous censorship.
Edit: I see on page 2 or 3 of that thread that the original poster did not use the word I thought. He used a "save the ta tas" ribbon.
I am not sure how I feel about that particular expression.
We apparently played different games, because I did not have a single "zzzzz" moment in Uncharted 2. Not a single one. I am also addicted to Demon's Souls, but Uncharted 2 is pure win in my book.
Never played a God of War game huh? Those M ratings can be a b*tch can't they?
So you think Microsoft has been throwing money around to Sony Santa Monica?
I suppose we should thank Microsoft for the free publicity. With God of War Collection soon to be released, and God of War III right around the corner, it sure is nice of them.
The Xbox 360 version definitely takes the prize here.
I guess that solves the the problem I was having deciding between playing Ratchet or some more Demon's Souls tonight. I know a certain Grim Reaper who is not going to be happy for the next couple of days.
Oddly enough, the Xbox 360 also lacks Linux support and PS2 backward compatibility. Those 2 features would not be a deciding factor for someone choosing between the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Nice try though.
Noone is going to buy an Xbox 360 over a PS3 just because the PS3 does not play PS2 games.

You are not really playing a terrorist. You are playing an undercover operative who has infiltrated the terrorist organization. Shooting civilians seems to be a stepping stone to getting closer to your mark. It is a morally gray scenario that is probably not uncommon in the real world.
Whether Valve makes Playstation games or not does not seem to matter much. Half-Life was released on the PS2, and Half-Life 2, with both episodes was released on the PS3. It remains to be seen if EP3 lands on the PS3, but even if it doesn't the sky will remain above us. Personally I think you deserve to lose a bubble or two for bringing up the PS3 in a discussion that is clearly centered around the PC.
You are not technically a terrorist. You are an undercover operative who has to kill a few innocents to get closer to your mark.
+bubbles for all, except theoneneo81.
The reason he lost his case is the same reason he will lose the appeal, and eventually lose the Supreme Court ruling if he takes it that far. The First Amendment protects citizens from the government. Sony is not the government.
His agoraphobia does not seem to prevent him from going to court.
On whether or not Columbia Pictures will be available through Netflix this time?
I would have liked to see Demon's Souls up there. I know it is a niche title, but it is an amazing game.
I should clarify that by "up there" I mean "on the list". I agree that UC2 is definitely the winner.
