It would not be the first time that a sequel landed on the PS3 without the first game in a series. Look at Saint's Row 2 and the upcoming Dead Rising 2. Also, the fact that Microsoft published Mass Effect is not relevant. EA owns the IP so they can publish it on another platform if they wish. Tecmo certainly did it.
That being said however, I am not holding my breath for a PS3 release.
If I live to be 100 I will never understand why people always want to change a formula that works well. Dead Space did pretty much everything right. Why change it?

Actually I see very clearly what you did there. You made yourself look foolish. I was not downplaying the NA numbers at all. I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of Bungie's post. He made it a point to mention that those numbers are just the NA numbers, and he is correct. That being said though, if those numbers were those of a PS3 exclusive he would not be so inclined to consider the rest of the world. I live in the U.S., so I have no interest in downplaying the market.

I am retracting my previous statement because I realize that arguing with an idiot is a fruitless endeavor. It is not like you actually play games anyway.
It is hard to take the author seriously. He can't even perform a basic math function. November 2006 to January 2010 is only 3 years and 2 months.
Edit: I see the author updated his timetable to "almost 4 years". Apparently he thinks it is "almost November". So not only is he unable to perform a basic math function, but he also has difficulty reading a calendar. My 6 year old daughter can read a calendar.
I assure you my logic is sound. Xbox 360 owners will have 30 days to find exploits and glitches, which means that by the time we get the content, fixes should already be implemented, or at least in the works.
This is a good thing for everyone involved if you ask me. The xbox 360 owners get to enjoy the content early, and the PS3 owners get to enjoy having a tested product.
