It apparently didn't flop too much if they are making a sequel.
Every car commercial I have seen for the past decade looks better than reality. Is it really so hard to believe that a game can as well?
Pick any fast food restaurant anywhere and tell me the pictures of the food on the menu don't look better than reality.
Actually I am pretty sure "The Guy Game" is banned in the U.S. because under U.S. federal law it is considered child porn. One of the girls in the game was only 17 at the time of development.
I think quite a few of you need to read the article instead of basing your responses on the title. The director never claimed that Dante's is a GOW ripoff. He never even stated that it was a compliment to be called a GOW ripoff.
He stated that it is a great compliment that people think his game is a lot like GOW, because the GOW team is at the top of their game. He hopes that the comparisons are being made because their combat system is just as responsive, the character is very ...
I have to disagree with Jennifer Mui being on the list. The first thing I did in Mercenaries 2 was unlock her catsuit.
I can say with absolute sincerity that I would quit gaming. I am not even kidding. The day Microsoft buys EA is the day that I find a new pastime.
SF4 - Multiplatform
RE5 - Multiplatform
UFC - Multiplatform
FNR4 - Multiplatform
BlazBlue - Multiplatform
Don't get me wrong, I do not fall into that "Xbox has no games" crowd, but you should at least look for better ammo to support your argument.
All of the games you listed are incredible, and they can all be played on the Xbox 360, but they are multiplatform. The Xbox 360 has exclusive games that play to the strengths of the syste...
I think you are generalizing a bit Sarcasm. There are extremists on both sides of the fence, and they will hate you, but "PS3 folks" in general will probably be fairly indifferent on the matter. As an example, I am a single console owner (PS3) and it does not bother me a bit that you are purchasing Forza 3.
They had their eye on Yahoo also. We all know how well that worked out.
Edit: To those who will disagree: It is a verifiable fact that Microsoft attempted, and failed, to acquire Yahoo. I will be happy to eat crow if it ever happens, but I do not presently believe that there is a snowball's chance in hell of Microsoft acquiring EA. Even if you throw the financial aspect out the window, you still have to consider the possible antitrust issues.
Edit: Sigh, I am letting myself get caught up in the "console war" again. I had a fanboyish response to iDetonation's sales figure game but I decided to remove my original post and will simply say that I am glad Uncharted 2 is releasing soon. I will be picking it up day one.
Actually i believe that one half of one percent is lower than the average.
I think at the very least the dying person should have to do a QTE with a very small amount of time to simulate grabbing a grenade and pulling the pin.
Let's see...
I was born and raised in the United States. I am a veteran of the US Armed Forces. I do not play Halo.
According to you cory I am not a real American.
I for one am adamantly opposed to censorship in any form. I am an adult and I do not need my government acting as an over-protective mother to me. If I do not want my children exposed to certain content, then I, and the parent, will take the appropriate steps to restrict access to that content. I don't need the government making my parental decisions for me.
$3 per month is infinitely greater than free. I will say again that I think Live is a much more cohesive experience, but no other console maker is charging for the privilege to play online.
Just remember that at the end of the day, Live is just evil spelled backwards.
Disclaimer: I personally feel that Live delivers a more connected feel, and offers a more cohesive experience overall. I do however disagree with charging for the core ability to play online. I think silver members should at least be able to do that.
Shadowman made the effort to state that no sarcasm was intended. With that disclaimer one can only conclude that his statement should be taken at face value, meaning he is being sincere when he says that it is unique.
I think there are 2 separate sides to the sales argument. In one corner there are those of us who appreciate an increase in hardware sales because we know that with a higher install base comes increased developer support and player count online. In another corner there are those people who equate sales with quality, as in a game is not good unless it sells well.
I am one of those who likes the fact that the install base is increasing, so I can say that I do care about sales. I h...
What are these dedicated servers you speak of? Live uses P2P connections. PSN has dedicated servers.
