I would argue that EA has a game on the PS3, not Valve. Valve has maintained that they had nothing to do with the Orange Box.

Edit: I know I am lowering myself by contributing to the trolling, but my response is true. Using Meerkat's logic that Move is just a Wiimote ++ (1 plus for more accuracy, 1+ for camera interface), then Kinect is also just an EyeToy++ (1+ for 3D body tracking, 1+ for interface integration). I am even ok with calling it an EyeToy+++ (one extra plus for infrared).

That is a very sad situation, but I am having difficulty picturing how that scenario could have happened. Presumably the Xbox was at a lower elevation if he was sitting on the bed, so even if he got the cord around his neck, how could he have been hanged? Even if the Xbox was somehow elevated above him, his weight should have been sufficient enough to either pull the Xbox down, or disconnect the cable. How did he manage to get it around his neck in the first place? We are talking about an 11 ...

It does not really matter if the consoles were gifts or bribes. In either case it was unethical for the members of the press to accept them.
I would have liked to see more Sony games as well, but remember they have to keep their publishing partners happy too. I think the EA presence at the Sony conference was more about giving EA some extra exposure than anything.

There was only a technical problem with the bow. Maybe the sensor bar was set in a bad place, or perhaps it was not calibrated properly. Everything else seemed ok.
Personally I thought Nintendo had an excellent conference. They had a lot of fantastic content this year.

Your logic is sound Wikkid, but for those people who are not interested in buying multiple controllers, Kinect still costs $149.99. For example, I game alone most of the time, or I play with friends online, so I really have no need to purchase multiple Move controllers. I may purchase 2 at the most, but I may not purchase them both at the same time.

I like the name "Kinect" actually. It is like a hybrid between "Kinetic energy", which is the energy of an object during motion, and "Connect", symbolizing a closer connection to the hardware, since you are the controller.

I started gaming in 1988 and this is by far the saddest excuse of a gaming generation I have ever seen. I realize that we have these articles because the internet allows for such nonsense to be presented on a massive scale, and that was not possible in 1988, but still, comparing search results is just pathetic.

Sony has released new IPs every single year since the PS3 became available. I am sure we will see something new at this year's E3.
I agree with Greywulf here. Aside from actually going to E3, which I am sure is a blast, the reason the expo is so important to us is really just the announcements. The announcements could be made without the conference and I would be just fine with it.
I mean really there is no difference in getting the information from an E3 stream or getting the information from the official websites. Either way we would get the same information, the same trailers, etc.
