The deal will still go through.
And Microsoft already owned Bungie at one point, they were tired of making Halo games and wanted to do other things, which is why Microsoft allowed them to go off on their own. Had Microsoft acquired them again, the talent at that company would had probably walked out.
@badz
Show me where they broke even?
It sold over a million copies, more than enough to justify the port.
@Papa
I never said it was a bad game or anything remotely of the sort, I'm only speaking of its visuals.
Yes sales were much lower on Xbox, but FF15 sold enough to warrant putting the games on Xbox.
I would love to see another Double Dash game.
@Number1
I bought it because it was standalone VR, I don't want to bother with streaming with my PC. Also I'm not into the virtual girl thing, but hey if that's your thing w/e and half life Alyx isn't exactly the prettiest looking game.
He never directly said it because he's under contract, he hinted by asking "Why is it like a PC version is releasing 6 months later?".
If you watch the video in the article that Sony posted on Twitter, it says "Final Fantasy XVI anticipated summer 2023. PS5 exclusive for 6 months.", what more do you need?
Though it doesn't bother me and I'm still having fun with it, all the games on Meta Quest 2 graphicaly look like GameCube games.
Well so much for the "Sony didn't cut a deal, it's not coming to Xbox due to sales" defense.
Kameo was alright though it wasn't exactly a goty contender when it came out, but if you have a hard time getting into older games you probably wont enjoy it. If you did decide to try it, you can pick up a digital code for Rare Replay for cheap from Eneba.
@Surg
MS is paying for these games to be put on GamePass and no one is forcing them to put their games there, If they weren't coming out ahead these developers wouldn't have their games on the service.
Battle Toads, Crash, Spyro, Doom Guy, Pip Boy, Conker, Overwatch characters, Lost Vikings, Killer Instinct characters, WOW characters, Psychonauts, Minecrafts Steve.
Hell put Tony Hawk's ass in there swinging skateboards at people.
No Jump Force wasn't a great game, but Killer Instinct(2013) which became a bit of a crossover fighter itself was well received, MS could get Iron Galaxy(one of studios behind it) to give it a shot.
Microsoft should give the genre a try after they complete the Activision Blizzard acquisition.
At the end of the day does it matter if the games are made by the studios that they've bought? They still own the games and the studios behind them. Same for Sony and their purchased studios.
MS is in a good position for the future with their acquired studios, but I think MS biggest enemy is MS. They've had a knack for driving out the good talents of a studio (Rare & Bungie), if they can let the studios do their own thing they should be setting comfortable.
So did the Switch

And let Nintendo buy some Rare ips while they're at it. Not going to happen, but would be cool of them if they did.
Looking better and better.
"Activision is being acquired for their IP's."
Yeah because MS has no interest in the talented developers who are responsible for making those IPs like COD so big in the first place... /s
