Plus the way Square has been doing things lately 😬
@Tyler
"They removed the work of the studios who were literally developing the game for PS"
Nope you're describing work being STOPED, not Removed. I'm sure Bethesda still has the work that was done on a Playstation version setting around somewhere.
@Crows
They prevented games from coming to Playstation yes that's obvious, but what have they "removed" from Playstation?
Forgot Hi-fi Rush and Hellblade 2. Looking like a decent year for all 3 systems, Xbox was definitely way over due for a good year.
let's not act like this is just a huge revelation, every one knows that this and Starfield had some kind of work done on a Playstation version, that's just common sense.
You may not like it, but what he said was technically correct. You can't remove something that was never there. It was never announced for the system and so there was nothing to honor.
Except COD has been big for awhile now, it didn't just happen recently.
The thing is COD wouldn't be as successful if it wasn't multiplaform, Sony will never make a game as big as COD unless it's also multiplaform.
It's not like they're doing something with it, alot of companies file patents and don't end using them. They're just setting up a path for the possibility of this going somewhere.
@Gerbin
I didn't say that it wouldn't be multiplaform. Sony still owns the Ip and MS would be keeping COD multiplaform, not sure what your point is.
@mocaak
Nope. Sony has been buying multiplatforms since the early 90's, long before Xbox was even a thing. This only became a problem when the guy with the bigger wallet came along.
I was comparing COD to Destiny. Bungie isn't Sony's only purchased studio.
@Ripper
You're not following the conversation, I brought up Destiny because If we're arguing powerfull ips that can control the market, Destiny is right up there.
@Megane
Try 20+ years.
Money clearly isn't the issue. Just look at the rumored development cost of Halo Infinate, in the end it was a mediocre game that had a rocky start, hundreds of millions in development cost and no one in control with enough sense to say hey let's not show off this game in the state that it's in. They have the studios, but they lack in leadership to guide them to make a great product.
MS can't buy COD and keep it multiplaform, but Sony can obtain Destiny which is also a big fps, seems like a double standard.
I'm pretty sure this ship will sink by itself.
Yeah I'm also pretty excited to play a game that I've beaten at least 10 times too.
@Extermin
Not saying that these games weren't planned for Playstation at one point, but the original trailers did not have any system logos.

?? Xbox 360 servers are still online, they haven't been taken down yet.
You don't mind showing where in those documents that it shows MS saying that then do you? Because EU said otherwise.
"Microsoft didn't make any "commitments" to EU regulators not to release Xbox-exclusive content following its takeover of ZeniMax Media" - the European Commission
False information is contagious, let's stop spending it.
That would be horrible and open a lot of puns "Series 'Y' bother", seems like something that they would do too.
