It's rumored to be getting a remaster for PC and PS5, hopefully it doesn't have a $70 price tag.
@DarX
Yet the CMA's desicion to block is because of them not being able to do basic math on the percentage of Microsoft position in cloud gaming.
People are nostalgic with those games but that's the truth of it. They weren't making enough money. The last Killzone game in the series, Shadowfall sold a decent amount less than previous entries despite being a launch title and having a system bundle. Resistance 2 sold a lot less than the original and then Resistance 3 sold even less.
I guess the comparison is because it seems to not be very portable. One of the biggest flaws the WiiU had was that the tablet wouldn't really work unless you were within 10 feet of the system and this thing has to be connected to Wifi.
Man people are salty over this game.
The discussion is about Tears of the Kingdom, not Tears of Anast.
Come on now, both companies have been releasing great stuff.
Microsoft already have more than Sony now, how's it working for them? As most of these regulators have determined, It's not going to hugely tip the scale in Microsofts favor.
Except they aren't any where close to winning and likely won't with ABK either.
I wouldn't say it was that bad, Xbox has had some pretty meh showing for awhile. Though I thought the Xbox & Bethesda direct was decent, suprise Hi-fi Rush and people weren't disappointed by Redfall yet.
They're not marching with pitchforks, the director is just passionate about his creation and regrets not being able to do more with the Ip.
Games are just taking longer to make, they're going to have years where there isn't going to be a lot of 1st party games released.
Ol "we can't just flip a switch" Nelson.
How is it an attack article? You just don't like hearing the smallest of criticism of Sony.
Just Halo, which is understandable the games were printing a lot of money.
How about a GTA game without clunky controls? That's something I haven't seen before.
"Even the PS5 version isn't"
It's also $70 on PS5.
@Crimson
Ultimately I'd assume it's up to the 3rd party to choose a price, if Nintendo was making all new games $70 then the upcoming Pikman 4 wouldn't be $60.
The article you linked is them clearly talking about pricing on their 1st party games and I'm not saying that $70 won't become the norm for them, but this isn't evidence of that.
This game isn't made by Nintendo, why would you assume they're in control of the pricing? It's a 3rd party game, Nintendo gets a % of the sale. They can't just choose to slap $10 extra on someone else's game, it doesn't work like that.
How about we wait for more than just one flopped game before we start painting that narrative.
I'm guessing it's because that's the version the reviewer played, if you watch the video you can see XYBA button inputs.
