Premium was included in that number. The first tier, PS Essential doesn't allow you to access a library of games apart from the monthly 2 rotating games similarly to how Xbox Gold works. So if were talking about which service gives a bigger audience for 3rd party's it makes sense to exclude Essential.

I don't think it works like that, they're not going to reverse their decision just because another regulator has a different opinion.
That and Nintendo does not offer a controller that works well for competitive play, the pro controllers sticks have horrible deadzone.

Yeah I really doubt that. We know they were offered a 10 year deal and that's more than the 4 years that Activision cycles.

The email is dated Jan 20 2022, clearly what he says in public contradicts what he truly believe.
If he believes that it will remain multiplaform, why would he believe it's anti competitive for them to own Cod? It's no different than his company owning Destiny.
Of course he has an issue with it, he doesn't want his company's most direct competitor to have more revenue and put itself in a better position.
