About time an article brought this up! Most PC gamers are elitist losers who seem to look at games though telescopes to analyse every pixel and texture. Im a gamer and tend to forget about the graphics when I get into a game. Its about the gameplay you retards and people who say consoles are 'slowing down' graphical progress, thats not true. I haven't seen one video of BF3 that outshines some other games we have seen yet in the graphics department.
I haven't played the beta yet but from what I have seen it looks no better than BC2. Just played through the KZ3 campaign and KZs graphics blow this away on ALL platforms from what I have seen so far. I couldn't care less if it looks like BC2 because BC2 in my opinion looks great anyway. Im just looking forward to the gameplay aspect of it all.
Some people must have seriously good vision to start comparing these so much. To me they all look very similar to the point were I wasn't even looking at the graphics, more focused on what was going on. True they all dont look great but its a beta. I just finished playing through KZ3 and that looked spectacular compared to this. That said im all for gameplay. Play BC2 all the time and love it even though its not the best looking thing out there.
Seems Epic never manage to get Gears online right. That piece of shit gun ruined the beta and they didn't listen. Never alienate your core fans, same thing happened to Killzone.
Get off your high horse people. Im a Battlefield player through and through but this looks great. Far as I remember Call of Duty was never about pushing the graphical boundaries anyway. When its not glitched to shit MW is a great game. Stop comparing it to Battlefield, they have different styles of gameplay, just pick which one you prefer and play it.

Downloaded and am going through the first Splinter Cell game, its still as good as it was back in the day! Dont make games like that anymore, Conviction was rubbish.
I HATE playing Fifa on the xbox. I use the d pad and the d pad is woeful on the 360. I guess that has nothing got to do with the game though. To be honest in terms of the game unless a port is completely botched I never notice the difference.

About f**king time!! I sold my 360 after Gears 2 online was a disaster (first one was my all time favourite online game), was the only game I had a 360 for. I had setup 3 Live accounts on my credit card just as gears 2 came out. A year later and not even having a 360 anymore BAM!! Charged €180. Didn even know that their was auto renewal. Had to ring India and go through a truckload of horsesh!t being spewed by the "customer service" guy before he would de activate it and remove...
I got shafted by M$ for €180 at the time because of the automatic renewal! It says nowhere when you sign up over the xbox that this feature is there. I didn't even use the xbox at the time. Then you go to the website and you cant even turn it off there regardless of what instructions you follow. You have to ring 'customer care' which takes ages. Use the pre paid cards people, don't put any of your credit cards, debit cards, etc up on Live.
In UC I never feel a sense of achievement when winning a fire fight. Gears is different in that sense. Apart from the ridiculous Sawn Off they added to Gears I would say Gears wins between the two in my opinion. In all fairness as well, Epic have way more experience than ND when it comes to multiplayer too. I much prefer Uncharteds story mode though, best around I think.
Personally I have always thought that Sony floods itself with exclusives. Sure didn't they say they were cutting back on exclusives a couple of months back? While Microsoft have 2 mega exclusives (Gears and Halo), Sony have so many people will pick and choose them. Nearly every 360 gamer will buy Gears and Halo.
Would love to see the trilogy released on PS3. And there is no reason it can't happen. Epic own the Gears ip not Microsoft. They would need to switch publishing partners and I am sure EA would jump at the chance like they did with Mass Effect.
@Zir0 if want you want is to go on sales then that exact attitude is MSs problem. Gears is done after 3, Halo is rehash after rehash and Forza even though I think is better than GT won't hold the same weight as the other two. Sony have LOTS of variety and they are never afraid to take risks. As a gamer I love that attitude. I never liked Halo, couldn't care much for racing games and I will get Gears purely because its the end of the trilogy but I am not really excited about it com...
When I look at games like Uncharted I always think the graphics are awesome. I mean how much more graphical power do we need. If I were Carmack I would pumping that power into AI, physics, etc. I am sick of PC people hammering the consoles when they are over 5 years old, it makes no sense. They aren't gonna get better so stop bitching about it. I like my console because I can play it in bed, in the living room, put it in a bag and bring it with me if I want to play at a friends house...

After reading the guys review I can completely understand where hes coming from. I myself would give the game an 8/10. Nearly everything he wrote I put in a "frustrations" post on the ND forums.
