I still sometimes sit back and think to myself, "How will it feel to play a LOD sequel/prequel with modern graphics but the same old aesthetics and feel. Will I ever get the chance? Will they ever make it and if they do will it be what I have dreamed of?" Then I just shrug off the thought, thinking that it is just too much to ask... Imagining only make it more painful...
I agree with you. The media just overhyped and over-reviewed this game. That is why it flopped so bad. It was an unwanted and completely inferior reboot. Whoever asked for it? What the hell was CAPCOM thinking? To top it all of CAPCOM and Ninja Theory were REALLY stubborn and arrogant about the whole thing. They were like, "We KNOW you want this game. You are saying "no" but deep inside you want it."
@MrAnderson
Butthurt?? It is the DmC lo...
Game publishers/developers have become just to greedy. The industry has become too big for its own good and now everyone only cares about sales/money. Nobody wants to risk making a game that may not sell enough. As a result we do not get any great JRPGs like the old days. In the old days, developers were all about passion, perfection, hobby and dreams. They did not care for the money and that is why we got those memorable masterpieces. I really miss those old times when I used to look forward...
What is up with the media again trying to hype this game up? This the third article today. Maybe MGR having blockbuster debut week sales has given them hope and motivated them to give one last push to this game. The game has flopped and sales have hit rock-bottom in the just the sixth week (ONLY 12,000 units globally). It is over, let it go now. Nobody cares for this trash.

The media has always been fascinated and sympathetic with Ninja Theory. Everybody was mourning the poor sales of Enslaved when it flopped. Now they are doing the same for DmC while raving how great it was. The game was a mediocre game and a bad DMC game. It has flopped, people have moved on and that is the end of it. The NT ball hugging by the media should be over now.
@Jek_Porkins
You havent watched Game of Thrones Season 2? Jaqen Hghar is a character who speaks like that. However, he is a lot more enigmatic and impressive than this guy. I can understand why he is a fan of the characters and tries to speak like him.
LOL!! That was really funny. That is how MS works. They see what the other is doing and then claim that they will do it even better. Just like this gen MS did; "If their console's name is Playstation THREE, then our console's name will be Xbox THREE HUNDRED SIXTY" Instead of providing quality gaming and news IPs, they are always worried about one-upping the competitors in the most meaningless ways.
@Decrpyt
Okay, so what do you suppose console manufacturers should do? Shove $1000 GPUs into their consoles and then try to sell them for $200? Will you be satisfied then? Console manufacturers have to take into account the cost of the components. They just cannot put the latest/most powerful piece of hardware and then sell them for an affordable price and eventually bankrupt themselves. They have to balance costs and performance so that people can afford to buy the console a...
REALLY looking forward to this game! I wish they release it already; the wait is agonizing just like it was for Ni No Kuni.
Man, is this game ever going to come out!? The generation is almost over and we are still looking at screenshots! I hate it when developers do that to us!
@DoomeDx
Sure they are, man. I meant other AAA studios. Infact, Killzone: Shadowfall is the first FPS that has given me an intense urge to play an FPS. You will be surprised to know that I have NEVER played an FPS. I want to play but I get severely dizzy from the first person view so I have stay away from them.
Well, those are a lot "shoulds" and "ifs" in order to beat PS4 reveal. From the rumours it seems that MS will be focusing a on Kinect 2.0 as a core component of the console. Additionally, MS looks like to be going big on media functionality according to analysts and rumours. Still, it is all speculation so we will only the know the truth when the console is revealed. However, one thing is sure; PS4 will be a much tougher competitor than PS3.
Another Assasin's Creed already??? Ubisoft is really milking the franchise.
I agree, the specs and graphics are amazing. Some people say that the graphics look similar to PS3 but one has to look at the finer details to understand that the games are truly next-gen. The lighting, shadows, the scale of the world, the textures, physics, particle effects and number of things going on screen simultaneously clearly prove that the console is very powerful. Moreover, the games are only at alpha stage right now and if rumours are correct have been developed on only 1.5 GB RAM....
You are absolutely right. That is the same problem I have with Nintendo. They do nothing besides those franchises listed by you and Nintendo fans continue to buy them decade after decade...
Microsoft is not interested in gaming, they are just interested in getting a media hub into people's homes. The XBOX served as a trojan horse to enter living room and now it is showing its true colors. MS is abandoning gaming as it is evident from the lack of games on XBOX for the past three years and their plans for Durango. They are moving towards casual gaming and media functionality instead of hardcore games and new IPs. On the other hand gaming is the bread and butter for Sony and Ni...
Naughty Dog are good but cant quite agree with Bethesda though...
I do not think that is possible now. The console (Durango) is probably in its final stages and MS is preparing for a reveal in a couple of months. A couple of days ago an article by Digital Foundry mentioned how it is almost impossible for MS to make any changes to the specs this late. Still who knows what might happen in a couple of months; we can only speculate.
Anyway it is great to see all this positive reception for the PS4 by the developers. This means we Playstation fans wont b...
It definitely feels like it is early. AC3 launched in November and AC4 has a release date of October! Ubisoft are now not even letting a full year go by before releasing another AC. They have found a cash cow and now they are going to milk its udders dry.
