Sorry bro, I do not agree with you. The industry isnt in such a bad state so to make a game bomb. There have been several multimillion sellers in the past few months. The game has performed poorly even though CAPCOM rebooted the franchise for increased sales. DmC just did not serve its intended purpose and failed.
And to those butt-hurt fanboys who are disagreeing with my post. What are you disagreeing about? I merely stated the facts.
The game sold just over one-third of what DMC4 did at launch. How about that for a reply? Number 1 means nothing. It is a subjective term. Just like a student taking the number 1 place by getting a C grade in a class full of students with Fs.
What? You couldnt even beat Mundus in DMC1. I beat him on DMD a few years back in order to unlock super Dante. No wonder CAPCOM dumbed down the game to appeal to players like you.
Many people are comparing the RAM configurations of both consoles but one important thing that many are forgetting is the amount of RAM reserved for the OS. Orbis reserves only 512Mb of its 4Gb of GDDR5 RAM which is roughly 12.8% of the total RAM, whereas the Durango reserves 3Gb of its regular 8Gb of DDR3 RAM which is about 37.5% of the total RAM. Therefore the Orbis will have a higher ratio of RAM available to the developers.
The article is by yahoo news and not by some Playstation or XBOX fanboy blog. I think they are a lot more credible than Nintendo fanboy articles who only see a rosy future for their beloved console based on just wishful thinking. The sales are a clear indication of lack of consumer interest. Wii U is in trouble and they need to get their act together if they want to compete in the hardcore arena this generation.
I agree. Excellent objective review that does not gives in to the hype. I do not understand what made most of the media give this mediocre game 9s and 10s, all the while failing to mention any of its flaws.

Very disappointed with Gameinformer. They give a 7 to a game that has been getting several legitimate perfect scores. I have lost respect for them and will be careful in the future when considering their reviews.
AWESOME! I am so glad this game is getting the recognition it deserves. Cant wait to play it! Really happy to get a AAA classic JRPG on my PS3.

Dude, I have completed the game on Nephilim difficulty and gave it a chance. I have played all other DMC game at the time of their releases so I know what a DMC game is like when it comes to gameplay. The media is giving it a free pass because they blatantly ignore and forget to mention the gameplay, graphical and story related issues with this game. They are just happy that it is a reboot by their beloved Ninja Theory, it is easy and westernized.

I got a copy and have already played 10 mission of the game yesterday and it is a decent game on its own but not a good DMC game. I have been playing on nephilim difficulty and enemies are extremely stupid. Enemies take at least 2 to 3 seconds to complete their attack animation and are never able to hit you. Bosses are similarly easy once you discover the intended formula for beating them. I killed succubus without getting hit even once. And I am just a decent DMC player of original DMCs. Bas...

Come on dude, stop making excuses. CAPCOM was boasting how this game will sell 5 millions instead just 2 million like DMC4. Ironically, it sells less than DMC4. The reviews mean nothing because many of them were released before the embargo which ensures high scores and the rest of them were released by websites posting advertisements for the game.
