The PC platform is a perfectly healthy platform. Just recently the platform broke a new record: Diablo 3 sold 3.5 million copies in 24 hours.
6.3 million in the first week.
And have you heard of the Steam download service? Millions of PC gamers use that, and it's all legit.
How dare you put a CoD title between those brilliant games?
I am a PC gamer. Has been and will always be.
But 2 years ago I bought a PS3 Slim for these games:
- Killzone 2-3
- Uncharted 2-3
- Wipeout HD
- Castle Crashers
- Journey
- Red Dead Redemption (this is NO exclusive, but it is not available on PC)
Now I'm looking forward to The Last of Us.
All the games described here are enough for me to justify buying a PS3. I don't see exclusives on 36...

Sorry to say but The Witcher 2 has been PC exclusive for over a year. If it hadn't sold well, the devs would have gone down.
Which clearly hasnt happened because the game sold and still sells very well on PC.
Also, running the game on all LOW settings looks still better than the console version. So "upgraded PCs" is also a bit wrong since I bet most no...

It's perfectly possible the next HL game will be called Half Life 3.
Gabe Newell has always said they take things as it go, and they turn stuff upside down, and experiment. I think it's perfectly possible they have decided to scrap the idea of "episodes" and will call it Half Life 3.
I don't know how you come to that conclusion... because PC games always run more smooth than consoles.

The first step you should take is: to NOT buy the 360's successor. If it sells well, MS will make it even more of a casual console.
Go for the PS4 because Sony cares about exclusives for hardcore gamers.
