Firmware updates can upgrade the read capability of Bluray players. Also, this media is probably geared/meant more for Bluray Burners in PCs for larger storage capacity, mainly archiving many larger files like security videos and databases. I doubt that the PS3 or any other standard market Bluray player will need to read a disc over 100GB. It doesn't make sense for movie production houses to press out a television series on a 200GB disc, when splitting it up on four 50GB discs or two 100GB...
It glitches like Forza3! LMAO, turn 10 must've help dev the PS3 version of Fifa. j/k, j/k... I don't play Fifa, but this video was hilarious to watch. What did they do @ EA, remove their ENTIRE Quality Control staff? Oh, wait... that's right, according to this vid, they obviously don't have one. What a glitchfest.
I predicted this on Gamepro, hate to say I told you so. The PS3 has the best exclusives... period. Guys like you are part of the problem at the Microsoft camp. You SUPPORT $60 expansion packs, peripherals with 300% or more markup prices, etc. You make the bed you lie in, and you guys deserve it. I still wish no malice towards you... Almost every single video of this game since the truck chase sequence. I have not tried to look at anything but still shots of this game. All this in my desire to not trip on a single spoiler. Congrats to all who will get to play this like me, and I hope you will enjoy it just as much!

Perhaps someone will make a PC kit that can rip UMDs... the problem is that you'd have to already own a PSP to do it. No one is going to make an external UMD drive just to rip these things. But then again, I would LOVE to be the only person in my area who had one, and offered to rip UMDs to people's PSPGos for a decent fee. Hmmm, now I am starting to think of the opportunities.
Oh well, we have to see if anyone buys them first.
1. The Price point, no one can argue this, it is too expensive.
2. It is competing with itself, or a older version of itself. The Go makes the PSP look more affordable, more attractive, and a bit more versatility being that it can read UMDs.
I guess what I am saying is, if I didn't own any PSP products, and was looking to buy one, the PSP would be an easy choice. It is cheaper, can read UMDs, and it is cheaper, and cheaper, ok, it doesn't cost more than a conso...
Are on the top of the goody bag list too. I seriously doubt that ANY of their employees who want the game actually have to buy it. They dismiss or do not care about value, because it never hits their wallets. The dude @ Thego, MAY have had to buy his copy, and file for reimbursement later, etc. Who knows? But many users who had to front the cash for ODST, many agree that the value vs. price point is not even close to being justified... a lot of these folk are 360 bretheren.
It is impossible to ignore. Value goes a long way with someone's opinion of a game, whether we admit it or not. If Heavenly Sword (which I enjoyed) was released at $29.99 or $39.99 it would've should've received 9/10 scores all across the board. The price balancing vs. what content you actually get is important. Keep in mind that many people (like myself) REFUSED to buy this game due to its price point. Trust me, those lost sales may account for 500,000 to 1 million more first week sales...
1. I already own a PSP, what incentive/benefit (truly) do I have to upgrade?

I guess it depends on what you're talking about... but your comment on Quad Core BEATS a Cell is full of FAIL. Because if you're talking about folding, which is a pure computing processor function, the Quad gets it azz handed to it by the cell.
Cut the console an additional $50 during Black Friday and Christmas holiday sale periods for a limited time only. Once on Black Friday, and maybe another -$50 firesale 2 days on the last two payday weekends before Christmas. This would definately give a boost to 360 sales. The PS3 will sell regardless, Microsoft's only hope is to produce a strategy that will extend buyers to buy that 360 as well.
No one supported Michael when he was living. No one was buying his music... even though it is great (especially in comparison to today's releases from different artists). Everyone pegged him as a child rapist/molestor, when his only crime was that he loved children, all children as if they all were his own. I suppose he wanted to make sure that every child he came in contact with had an opportunity to live a childhood, unlike himself having to tour when he was little, focusing on disciplin...
You will find out that no one is complaining about the score, or even defending the game (it needs none), but users here are discussing the ludacris reasons for the point deductions that the reviewer used when criticizing this game. It is like getting hits in the game because the reviewer didn't like the lettering on the box... especially the ones that spelled out "Only on the PS3".
It would appear so. It is very strange that no one even MENTIONED these obvious glitches. It is not that any or every game is perfect. It is about having a set of reviewing standards across the board, that seem to ALWAYS get bypassed when reviewing exclusive 360 titles. I am smarter than that, I was waiting for news on this game before I considered it... Turn 10's big mouth delayed my purchase even further... more like until this game hits the bargain bin. Bluray is an ideal optical medium for large capacity archives. It is VERY difficult to scratch these disks with normal usage. I cannot see it replacing tape drives, but for some small businesses that cannot afford robotic arm tape drives, this can be a much better alternative than VCR taping. You could see Bluray recorders being used on 007 movie when he was looking through security footage. Seemed like a decent application of the tech.
