Well, I am an artist. I have won national and international contests. So what, it is all open to interpretation. Saying that HHG isn't an artist is the same way that many feel that Jackson Pollock wasn't an artist either. Wildly splattering meaningless coats of paint on a canvas to sell them for thousands of dollars a piece. Much of his work could've been duplicated by a fifth grade art student with access to supplies after school... but who cares, no need to hate.

Although I would not dare break open to solder a chip on my PS3... nor do I have a Bluray burner in my PC, nor is blank Bluray media cheap. So even IF the modchip was already out to the general public, there is no way in HELL I would mod my PS3. There is little to no benefit as it currently stands.
If you have a modded 360, the most sure fire way of not getting caught/banned is to not play pirated games online before the release date. It is ALSO smart to remove your hdd so you cannot save any gaming data bfore the release date. So do play pre-release games and do not get caught, I do not know how. The fact that a lot of people do play weeks before the release date and see no ban lets you know that Microsoft's scanning system for such activity is LAME.

I can see a reason to call that a "real" Ultimate/Deluxe Edition and charge $79.99 for it.
Edit 1: I think $59.99 for Mass Effect2 and $20 for Mass Effect 1 is a fair and attractive deal. I wouldn't push it past that price point, or you will have too many people waiting for a sale to hit.

So it is strictly up to the developer and/or what sort of closed door deals were made with Microsoft on limited exclusiveness. The ONLY way that Microsoft could PREVENT Mass Effect 1 or 2 being released to another platform is to control it completely by owning the IP. Mass Effect was a great game IMO. The more platforms it reaches, the better. Now can I have a next gen KOTOR?

360 owners as consumers have a considerable amount of power if you realize it or not. If you guys as a large majority in the gaming community banded together and REFUSED to pay for XBL, Microsoft would have no choice but to make it free.
Lets be honest, Microsoft IS double-dipping by charging $50 for XBL while selling ad spaces to companies like Burger King, etc. Microsoft could make live free by selling that advertising space just the same.

Uncharted2 is no doubt one of the best games made to date. I wonder how a game like Demon's Souls would do in Japan because of its genre. I will have to order the game since it is sold out locally(everywhere).

I don't think a person CAN be a decent level IT Security expert without being a hacker or having experience with basic hacking techniques and methods. Most CISSP guys I know are home hackers... the best ones I met are REALLY into hacking.

This very issue was proven that it could be done back in the DVD days... still current day to 360ers. It is known that you CAN even reflash a DVD drive to follow instructions different than its original spec.
