Taylork37 and Kionic Warlord come to my mind. I actually enjoy reading many of their posts. There is nothing wrong with favoring your console of choice. I own all three, but prefer my PS3. That does not mean I don't get down with my 360. But I will step out on a ledge and say this.
Many 360 fans lack intelligence. If there is documented evidence of skewed scoring, upon the top class titles on both consoles... all it requires is casual reading.

Please?
Wii Fit is $90 man, there ain't jack shyt casual about spending $90 on a game. Trust me, much thought goes into that purchase for most people. The economy ain't what it used to be, but it still sells well.
It is ridiculous, because that means we should apply that logic to consoles as well and say the Wii is a better console than the 360 and PS3... so lets do a live case study on N4G!
If you believe the 360 and PS3 are better than the Wii HIT AGREE.
If you believe the Wii is better than the 360 and PS3 hit Disagree.
I think what many are saying is that the text vs. the score and when stood up to like scores in recent history for lesser games, this review fails to strike BALANCE. Because it is an unbalanced score, it will appear to many as unfair. I truly don't give a damn what this site thinks, I have read enough revews to know two things...
1) I loved Uncharted 1
2) Uncharted 2 has been confirmed to surpass Uncharted 1's excellence
So if this were a math problem:

You prepare for an Outage. You hope everything goes well, and you try to prepare for it, but that is one heck of a load-balancing job.
Average review for the set was 4.4 out of 5.0 with more than 40 reviews posted. Read all the negative reviews to see if there were any problems that were patterns, or if folks just got lemons.
Best thing was the price, $510 EACH for this set:

Reviews are supposed to be a study of the material:
1) fair, competitive, transparent merit-review
process for the selection of collective scoring averages based on a standard set of categories (i.e. Graphics, Sound, Control, Playability, etc.)
2a)To extinguish biases, reviews should be conducted using a barometer on game class/genre and not based on the parenting console.
2b)If less capable hardware needs a handicap in any of these scorin...
On both sides. We don't need 360 fans bucking for high scores their games do not deserve and vice versa for PS3 fans. Look, some people actually try to BUILD their gaming library based on information obtained via the internet. The same way people shop around online for reviews before buying any other product.
When I bought my washer and dryer set I COMBED the internet looking for averages and possible issues that could've come around from owning that product. Games aren't m...
The bags of Doritos and ODST Underoos that someone will be sporting.
To Microsoft, Bungie, and all of those who will enjoy this game. Condolences to those who rushed out, bought it, and found disappointment. I tip my hat to you all, because I won't be involved in ODST... I will demand more for my money and wait for Halo Reach, and see what that game is about.
And for the Sea of Idiots out there like the guy above who keeps mentioning Halo selling more than Killzone is just plain stupid. This is Halo's FIFTH installment, and Killzone's SECOND....
There are PLENTY of PC expansion pack games that DO NOT require the original game. As an example, I will give you one of the best I've enjoyed:
"Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts (abbreviated CoH:OF) is the stand alone expansion pack to Company of Heroes, a RTS game for the PC announced on April 5, 2007" - Wiki
They are called Stand Alone Expansion Packs, which is EXACTLY what ODST is. And hmmmm, oddly enough, guess what the price was for this good ...
Xenogears
May as well go back to PS1 while you're at it.
People will hunt you and your bubbles down to extinction for being truthfully about Halo. Watch your azz. Great review.
I also believe, that if ODST came out at $40, there would be much less bickering about it. To be honest, I didn't download any Halo3 maps, but I own the game. I don't like Halo3, but I think I will give it another shot and play it tonight.
With that being said, ODST may put a spin, add some change... if it were $40, I would've probably bought it and gave Halo another go. But being that it costs exactly the same as Halo3, which I didn't like... chances of me buying ODST are s...
Game recognize Game!
And @ Stone-The-Crow, you are probably right. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are all probably Yachting-it-up with top executive parties thrown for one another, all with the cash we've spent.
We all fight it out on N4G, while they all get along, drink champagne, and frolic around with naked women.
I would bet money that all 3 top execs have each other's cell phone numbers in one another's Rolodex, and have all been golfing toget...
There is nothing wrong with Bungie playing UC2. It is honorable for developers to admire each other's work. Devs playing games is one of the best ways for them to share innovation and ideas. GT5 devs play Forza3, Bungie plays UC2, individual devs play games @ home on all consoles, and play games of all types. If 360 and PS3 fans got along as half as good as devs, we may have a stronger voice in demanding better quality, excellence, and fair pricing of the video games we buy, love, and pla...
"we’re quite frankly stunned that the game has been averaging eights, nines and beyond."
"for our score, as far as we know there has not been one single counter-argument to any of the individual negative points made in the text.”
“Unlike Halo 3, which lasted me personally for months, ODST is incredibly short, pales visually by current standards, is repetitive, and offers nothing beyond the experience you might have if someone carved off a third of ...
So if you buy ODST without caution and reason, don't complain of the $60 raping that you have gotten if you wait outside in the rain @ a midnight launch to get it.
NowGamer is trying to help some of you simpletons, and you're too dumb to realize it. I salute NowGamer and ARSTech for the honesty, and not buckling to whining fanboys. It has been confirmed that the content vs. price tag doesn't add up. Only folks breaking par is non-Halo3 owners.
But honestly, I ...
There is NO BETTER validation of a game's quality when a completely separate and highly regarded dev team steps out and says, "You MUST buy this game!" I cannot recall when that has ever happened. Infinity Ward had ZERO to gain from saying that. That was the best and most CREDIBLE endorsement this game could've ever got.
Applause to Infinity Ward and Naughty Dog... you guys kick azz!
