There is no comparison in quality this year, that is simply a fact. It has been praised by other development groups with comments like, "If you own a PS3, you must buy this game". It has universal praise, good sells, good reputation, and the scores to back it all up. Naughty Dog seemed to work the hardest, have the best product, and they deserve the reward.
Not so great sales figures IMO. But at least it sold more copies than 360 consoles. It is safe to say that GT5 will probably sell more in a day. Perhaps the US sales of Forza 3 will add a tremendous amount to the sales figures... when 360 fans realize that for $60 DLC they can add a rocket powered Warthog to the game! Go Masterchief!
And it seems to be a pretty decent one at that. God of War will be a day one purchase for me and anyone else who is a diehard fan of the series.
Unless they delete the current content and decide to smear turds all over the screen, they've got my $60.
Is Microsoft giving away 360s for free this Holiday season or something?
Could this make GT5 the Little Big Planet of racers? This appears to mean that we may be able to create tracks and publish them online for others to race, etc? If it had that feature, it would be HUGE. Just add an infinity symbol next to the playability factor if that were true.
Could it possibly be a racer that we could never get tired of playing? An infinite amount of new tracks due to user based submissions? Imagine the possibilities.
It seems to have been crafted by true masters of the game. The PS3 has trojan horsed Bluray technology into the veins of America. It has spread like a virus, with the point of true origin being at the PS3. Sony will make tons of profit in rights & logo usage and residual income. The PS3 will make them so much money, it will actually fund the development of their next console.
People always try to separate the PS3's losses/gains from Bluray's ultra successful gains. Whe...
Microsoft's XBL Boss, Jerry Johnson is being investigated for heavy drug use.
More news tonight at 10.
I'll never forget one day I was briefly in Gamestop... I was only there for no more than ten minutes. I like to get things in-and-out kinda way, I don't care to linger in the store too much. But anyways, the last 2 minutes I was in the store, a woman came into Gamestop with her son, she was upset or worried, I could see the look on her face. But all the while she was calm and respectful to the Gamestop employee. She had a Xbox 360 in her hands, I was thinking RROD or something, no big dea...
Hollywood "usually" doesn't work that way. None of those people have any star power. The movie needs a BIG NAME to draw the box office hits that investors would be looking for. Unfortunately, that does not rest amongst the people who worked on the game. A bunch of no name actors is too much of a risk for translating into empty theatre seats, no matter how good they are. The studios would take a chance on hiring Leonardo DeCaprio to play Drake before they did that... lol.

The infrastructure simply isn't there to support a broad audience. Expect ISPs to enforce bandwidth caps and adding plans to charge per GB if they haven't already. And why shouldn't they if they have to purchase the equipment to support this kind of massive bandwidth to their consumers.
Microsoft needs to stop selling the Snake Oil and market this as a "COOL" ALTERNATIVE instead of the primary way to view HD movies. A streamed vid will not beat Bluray as a physical...
I wonder if it was a FPS game... sorry, had to put that out there. But this is terrible, I could not imagine the type of being that could do this to their OWN child, much less someone else's.
A moment of silence.
To expose the rabid Wolves that is really Microsoft. What will they do next? Give away $50 discounts to everyone who buys adult service from Credit Card swiping Hookers on Craigslist?!
Microsoft has turned into a company who makes products that cannot stand on its own legs. It has been their strategy all along. Why make excellence when you can try to buy it out? Too bad for you Microsoft, but I am glad that the shady company that many of us always knew you were has finally...
The birthing place of the ridiculous fanboy that we all cannot stand. The fanboy that every true gamer claims to hate... originated from the core of a company called Microsoft. Sure there was always competition between consoles, we all remember the Sega VS Nintendo days. But the gritty, hit below the belt, sick, disgusting, blind following, idiot with his wallet, low IQ having, one step away from suicide lemming, hobbit looking, game site trolling, frothing mouth ORIGINAL FANBOY derived fr...
Depends upon the ignorance of their customers. They are like people raping you in broad daylight, asking you "what's wrong?" smiling as if they were concerned.
Did someone above call Microsoft console Nazis? LMAO.
It was just not true to what made R1 so great. It was too close to being a totally different game with the same characters, etc. Online mode was too different... dammit, they got rid of some of the core things that got R1 players hooked. Now I'm gonna have to go home and play R1 again.
R1 was one of the most underrated FPS games this gen. I think it STILL has the best sniper rifle in the business... that Fareye is freakin sick.
If me and you are having a conversation about the 360, and I ask you specifically about the possibility of a Bluray drive... and you tell me, " I don't know if we'll build one in, but one will be available as an accessory." How can someone twist that staement to mean something other than it is plainly stated? The only options are that Ballmer, who is a CEO is misinformed about the 360 and what Bluray plans are available in the future for it.
I don't get what all the...
Laptops and PCs have had built in Bluray drives in them for years. I think Ballmer would know if he were discussing the 360 or Windows as an operating system since Microsoft doesn't make PCs. Walmart sells internal PC Bluray drives for $119. Many laptops carry a premium model sporting a Bluray drive with HDMI output. Why in the hell would Ballmer be talking about something that has already been rectified as it used to be an issue with Windows OS, but not anymore?
I smell so...

We all know how insane Black Friday shoppers can be. Besides, the holidays are all about "stuff" and nothing else to most folks. Good luck being in that line 24hrs in advance to be one of the ten who will get in on this so-called deal to turn around and have to buy a hdd for $100, or how about a wifi adapter?
