360 fanboys said that it was IMPOSSIBLE for the PS3 game to play @1080p resolution @ 60fps. Then came games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma and GT5p. The words you 360 fans used was "IMPOSSIBLE".
I'd be careful in using those words again. But HHG may have some of the spec info confused, I think he may be talking about games optimized for 120hz televisons, which would be awesome if you had a 120hz or above hdtv.

Who thought the Bayonetta character looks like Sarah Palin in tights. Her legs are wayyyy too long for her body and her head is too tiny, my only gripes if you can call them that. But oh well, I'll write these things off and attempt to enjoy the game, the gameplay looks decent enough. But I have a PS3 which means I have too many other games to play, Bayonetta will be a rental until confirmed otherwise. I wanna get a feel of the replay value, etc.
If they stopped wasting money in Japan? Hmmmmm...

I was simply playing devil's advocate. I will be playing this game under the assumption that it is fun. I liked the earlier DMC games. If Bayonetta borrows much from it, I don't care much as long as it is fun. The same goes for me playing Dantes Inferno, I will be playing that as well, but GOW3 I will buy instead of rent.

Can I please see the video that everyone is claiming looks so great? Anyone have a link to this in HD? Some of this video looks like Rainbow Six Vegas with a Sam Fisher mod. There is nothing great looking about this video "graphics wise". Keep in mind, I enjoyed Rainbow Six, but either I am blind, or my monitor lying to me. This video does not get the job done... there I said it. Pause the video at 0:21 seconds and look at the guy with no shirt... what looks so good about that...
The Halo Effect - people will buy it no matter what. If there was a warning label informing customers that the game is an actual disc shaped turd, MW2/MW3 would still sell millions.
That Sony sucks and that they will have trouble because of Wii and Natal. But Microsoft's elephant in the room is Natal's price. I find it very scary for them that they flat out REFUSE to talk about that. Given Microsoft's track record on accessory pricing we ALL can honestly say, that it has not been in favor of the consumer.
Could Natal be different? Sure it could. Will Microsoft keep a low and reasonable price point? I am doubtful about that due to their pricing trends...

Dantes will be a decent tie over game until GOW3 is released. That is it. It will be a good rental for PS3 owners until GOW3, and it should be a good buy for 360 owners since it is as close to GOW as they will get.
