the lack of need for variety on the 360 platform. Reach and Gears, a FPS and a 3rdPS... that probably accounts for 70% of most of 360 gamer's time on XBL. The other 30% is just filler games, niche stuff. Why in God's name does the 360 need a variety of types of games in other genres? Mass Effect should sell more than ODST, but this will not happen because it isn't called Halo Effect.

I love some Gears, but I agree, the Roadie Run is the absolute dumbest animated run style ever. Everytime I see it I laugh, Squat running with 150lbs of gear on without your knees falling off is an instant classic. Sometimes imperfections like this make the game more fun for me, it adds hidden amusement whereas there shouldn't be any... intentional or not.

I agree, the planets were nothing but different colored copies of one another with a random map with goodies hidden in different spots. It was the only issue I really had with the game. The driving was a snooze, and it did not add to the value of the game IMO. But nevertheless, ME is a great overall package.
Speaking the truth about calling PC Mass Effect 2 the superior version will "bring the disagree rain" down upon you like a Heli strike in MW2. This fact hurts people's feelings, you know that - you should apologize.

With Bluray, they could import ME1 & ME2 on the same disc as a collector's edition, if they wanted to. Or are they gonna watch ME1 go the way of Bioshock? Wait for all the hype and glamor of the game die down... launch it for $30, and then blame PS3 fans as to why it won't sell a million copies. I say release ME2, and if you can bonus bundle ME1, more power to them.

Why are people hating on the PC version of this game. I am guessing that a large number of folks are wishing the PC version didn't exist. All the hate is nonsense... even with a game as splendid as this coming out, some of you are just miserable momma's boys by nature I guess. Who cares about a video leak, when the whole damn game has been available? I stated to watch it, but closed it out... I'd rather get the first impression along with playing it. I am laughing out loud @ all the folks on here who somehow seem shocked that the game has improved over the last and looks great. Hell, the first one looked great, why is the improvement especially in graphics so unexpected?
Why does a console have to be maxed out to produce better graphics? Why could it not be that Bioware got more efficient and/or improved on the old engine, etc.? If that is the case, they wouldn't have a need to tax the system resources much more than they originally did, now would they? Also, no one claimed that ME1 maxed out the 360, so it is foolish to look at the second installment and make a rebuttal on the merits of ME2 being greater than ME1. ME2 SHOULD be better by default... lmao....

1) There are PS3 play or no play true exclusives, which are usually their cream of the crop games.
2) You don't have to own a 360 to play some of their best games if you already own a capable PC

The only reason your arguments fail is because you forgot to incorporate the tremendous gap between Bioshock's release date on the 360 and PS3. The hype train for Bioshock had LONG come and gone by the time it hit the PS3. What was it, a full year later when it hit the PS3? No wonder the sales were lackluster, hell I am sure quite a few folks who were on the fence about buying a 360 probably picked up one because of Bioshock. It was an excellent game, but it came WAYYYYY to late to the PS...
