I just cant see one company being blown away with specs in todays world. MS will imo try to atleast be competitive in terms of specs. If their specs arent up to par and their graphics cant be equal in terms of atleast multiplats then the console will be DOA. MS is smarter than that.

I apologize in advance for my ignorance in this topic. My question is, cant MS just change their specs now? I mean i understand the dev kits are out there. Whats stopping MS from grabbing a DDR5 as well with 8 gigs of RAM just to match? Im sure most of the third party devs have Sony's dev kits and MS could basically just say fuk it we have similar specs just port some stuff over.
For weeks if not months there has been details that have "leaked" then you have this? You cant tell me there isnt anyone from Sony reading ANYTHING online electronics related that hasnt read that Sony will be showing the PS4. So yes with all that in mind and Sony doesnt squash anything and being their in like year 7 in the cycle yes it would be catastrophic for Sonys wallet to not have this being the PS4.
IMO its all or nothing here. If its anything non-related to the PS4, Sony will look like a joke. Stock will drop and Sony will lose money in the millions within hours. With all the info being "leaked" for months already then this teaser it would be a huge failure on Sony's part as a company not just for us and videogames by showing anything that is not their next console.
Problem lies in that now with it being 3 weeks away it has a chance to build even more excitement with people outside of gaming like investors. With mainstream non-niche vg sites saying its the PS4 Sony will lose money now if they dont reveal the PS4. It has to be an announcement, if not stocks are goin to drop.

Averngers, sorry but WWE and the NFL are on totally different levels when it comes to viewership and fans. On any given week Raw gets a little over 20% of what the NFL gets. Not a knock on wrastlin but its no NFL.

Best football game is more than just a title. For instance IMO i play Madden on 360 more than the PS3. Its just smoother to me and the controls to me just feel better. I used to game my football on the genesis back in the day because it too was just smoother for sports than the SNES was to me. The sole reason i never got around to building a high end PC is because Madden is no longer available on PC.
Whatever box has the best NFL football game is where im going. Sports games has been my biggest factor going back to the SEGA Genesis days. I bought the SEGA first then a few years the SNES and so on.
Im all for PC gaming. Ill dive headfirst as soon as Madden starts going to PC again. I know I know its "just" Madden but I spend more time every year on that game than most of my other purchases combined. Id love to hook up a gaming PC to my 70" LED.
I dont see why im a turd. It happens after every console,Iphone launch. Its a quick buck and hurts no one. Im not forcing anyone to purchase anything. The market dictates the prices not me. Its simple supply and demand really. I dont do anything illegal or immoral. I purchase atleast 3-5 consoles and Iphones on pre-order. If anyone wants one by all means they can get them the same way i did if not thats why im able to do what i do.

It is a fact it is the next generation of console for...Nintendo. How again it compares with MS/SONY for their similar sonsole generation cycle is another story.

I agree that Sony is doing great in terms of sales and the quality of the games it releases but i disagree in that Sony has also done a poor job in that MS should have been passed years ago. Sony should have passed MS in terms of sales within a few years after release if not its a failure in that MS was able to grab such a large market share in such a short period of time. Let me preface this with ill be buying it day one and preordering probably 4 or 5 of em. ($$). Im excited for this but the trailers and the Sony event did nothing to push my enthusiasm any farther than it was already. No wow moments for me. My enthusiasm didnt drop though either. It does seem to be what i have read from previous articles where next-gen was not going to be the leap people are used to from one generation to the next.
