I doubt M$ cares about giving any $$ to $ony to use blu-ray. Its not like $ony owns all the patents to blu-ray its a conglomerate of companies that essentially lease out the technology. Not to mention u think $ony cares about using windows in $ony PC's?

JDFoster, if your sayin "ppussy" football, im guessin your talking about soccer. NFL football is played by some of the greatest athletes the world has ever known. The gear is there to protect people from major injuries due to the speed and strength of its players. If Ray Lewis played Rugby he might kill guys on a weekly basis.
There would only be proprietary controllers and Apple would create a format for the games just so they wouldnt have to pay any patent fees. If u think Live was expensive at 7 bucks a month or whatever it is now, Apple would charge prolly twice that.
Im actually a big Madden fanboy. If there isnt really any differences between all these Maddens this gen then play like Madden 07 and this years. Itll look totally revamped. Not to mention they have very small development window to make their game and i think they do a fine job.
I agree 100% Zombie. BUT my question in this discussion is was it worth it? I think downloading and streaming content became much more prevalent faster than anyone thought. I personally like having a physical copy but with netflix everywhere, really netflix is EVERYWHERE. You cant buy an electronic device without it on there.

See heres the thing about Bay. Who and why are you comparing him too? He makes summer movies. Movies you can go to and just enjoy. Hes not Spielberg, hes not Nolan. Hes Bay and he makes fun popcorn movies. Would i want him directing something a little serious like something about the events of PEARL HARBOR, NO! But i dont mind his movies if you take them for what they were made and intended for.

Im goin to disagree in that you say 3 reasons without stating how those facts are quanitifiable and true.
1. What in the design and materials are flawed specifically?
2.The E37 is not as big as the RROD and in fact i dont know a person that its happen to. Not saying it doesnt happen but its not such a huge problem imo.

Not reaching just people saying the way it is. Nintendo was way off on this one. WiiU in 2012, that hardly anyone will rush out to buy. Then a year later after the "U" has been out a year M$/$ony will prolly release their next consoles blasting past the WiiU. So the "U" essentially has a year head start before it looks ridiculous. (Atleast as much as it doesnt already)
Agree and disagree. Personally Nintendo's was a HUGE HUGE HUGE letdown. I personally really liked what i seen of Vita and i didnt think i would. M$'s wasnt bad just not good. Plus i disagree with your laggy Kinect talk. It can be laggy but its more not laggy than it is laggy, if that makes sense.
IMO Nintendo and $ony/M$ are playing two different games.
Im not an OSU fan either but when you said go blue I started laughing but then i also felt a little sad. First it was ND then M and prolly next OSU. Once proud football factories that have fallen to the wayside and might never get up. I would also say USC but USC will never stay down to ez to get athletes to come to SoCal.
