Its a behemoth of a game were you do whatever you want. In terms of freedom and diversity of play, skyrim is unparalleled.
People can love the Witcher as much as they want, its success does not matter to me. I just want people to be a bit more unbiased when it comes to that game though. I havent seen misplaced game worship of this scale since The Last of Us.
Yeah. Andromeda is cool. Like how everthing outside of your ships window actually reflects your current location. Andromeda nailed the exploration theme, even if the animations are a little freaked at times.
Its actually true that pne of my friends got bored literally the first 3 minutes and never touched it again.lol
The Witcher isnt really that exciting for me either, but I liked it enough to beat it; albeit, I was highly uninterested in the combat, so I had to crank the difficulty down at that annoying botchling quest.
Im "downplaying" the game because people are being unfairly biased towards the game, saying that it is so much better than other games by a long shot. Witcher 3 is a good game through and through, even when people say that it is garbage(yes, there are several people who say its trash). But it is being highly overrated to say that it stomps other games. Someone said its because they put so much care into the game. And other games dont? Fallout 4 and Mass Effect get crapped on, yet pe...
Witcher 3 needed the polish as well. No complaints from anyone though.
Mass Effect 2 was a beast of a game. The devs at the time realized the insane difficulty of trying to have a game with a strong novel and visual presentation, while also maintaining the tedium of creating a world where you go out and explore etc etc.
If I recall, gamers were like " Mass Effect 2 is such a dumbing down, bring back the RPG elements and sense exploration from Mass Effect 1."
Bioware tried to grant that request with Mass Effect Andromeda, but now gamer...
Main problem I saw was that there was no character progression. I had nothing to aim for so I just found muself runnong through the wilds until something came up.
Nah, it's not that good honestly. I like the game, but its overrated.
Strange, thats how my friends feel about the Witcher. I try to get them to play it but they said its too boring.
I dont know about that. The Witcher is not as almighty as people think. Unfair? How so? The game has areas that are not so good.
For Honor is good. Just that scummy practices and cash grabbiness lessened the game quite a bit.
1. Mass Effect Andromeda
2. Horizon
3. Zelda
4. Digimon World: Next Order( I know.lol)
5. Persona 5
Have not played Nier yet, but it will likely take Digimon's spot if I like it well enough. NiOh
@pietro
It is only claimed to be the best because a vast majority of gamers are into movie games, as thats the current trend. If people like the Witcher 3 so mich, so be it. However, people should not be biased towards other games when the ones they like have similar issues to the pnes they dont like.
@Shin
No, it has nothing to do being tasteless, it has to do with being molded differently. Speaking for myself, none of that emotional stuff in the Witcher had any effect on me, so naturaly I wont be as impacted as those who were pleased by it. Imwould take deep and diverse gamplay mechanics over an emptional story any day. Thats why I call it a movie game, because the trend with gamers now and days is they want their games to have engaging stories that make them feel. Jis...
I saw hard glitches my first 10 minutes into the Witcher. That didnt stop me from playing it. Its a giant game, and there are far too many variables involved with a game like to catch them all. If people want these big games with tons of stuff to do, they need to stop whining so much about bugs.
@Cannon
I definitely played it. In fact, I have it on both consoles (dont ask why). I like the game, I just dont like the bias people show towards that game. Its just a bit unfair how on one end of the spectrum, you would swear the Witcher had everything going for it, and everything CD Project Red focused on was raised to the absolute ultimate level. And on the other end of the spectrum, Bioware apparently took a fresh turd from their privy and placed it into a game case. ...
Seems you dont know what a real bad game is.
Seems pretty high grade to me. People act like its two worlds or something. They have nothing good to say about the game. This reminds me of Fallout 4, where people just flogged the game to death. Screw the stuff they got right.
True.
