Have nonidea what you are referring to. All the stuff i saw for starfield pre-release was: “Im worried about starfield “. “Starfield will be a failure.”, “Bethesda dont make good games”. Post release, the hysteria was surely going to keep it from getting anywhere near GOTY.l, evwn if it is GOTY material.
What gamers dont realize is how they are being manipulated to constantly keep talking about Starfield. Keep em coming.

I guess Horizon Forbidden west was mediocre when it got snubbed out last year as well. Im glad to see that people are stull making negative articles to bait you all. Keep em coming.

This is all subjective in the end. Spiderman 2 is champion material, and so were the other games, but the collective just liked Baldurs Gate 3 better. Hypothetically speaking, the strongest or fastest dont always win the race, and there can only be one winner.
Don’t worry about the reviews. If you like Far Cry like ganes, you will probably like it.
I have no doubt a few are paid reviews, but maybe its mostly that people that played the game first just liked Starfield. I know I do. The exploration is not the same but it has merit in other areas, and its “focus” is a little different this time around

So we can keep talking about it. The story of developers responding to reciews was literally already covered last month, now everyone is writing on it again. Starfield generates alot of attention, hate it or love it.
People are looking for anything they can to tear this game to shreds.
Pretty much all open world games have invisible force fields. Games are an elaborate illusion, some just mask the barriers differently.

Why not? Its a game. So it does things a bit differently, does that mean it should be condemned to non-release?

The issue is not even the loading screens, its the way players interact with the game. People are running from planet to planet trying to find the “fun” in a game they dont like. If you dont like the game, there is no fun. It was like this for me in Tears of the kingdom. Why am I getting two tapped by phantom gannon with 11 hearts? Why are bosses tanking all of my weapons until they break while I get two tapped? I didn’t actually engage with the games world the way it was intended and designe...

Notice how you get downvoted for being reasonable. What you said was not even positive, just reasonable, yet the neg lords have come for you. The hate hysteria for this game is real. Now I will say one issue with Starfield is it was marketed too wide. Starfield is a niche game with a gameplay loop that will not entertain alot of people, and they should have marketed it more modestly.
