N/T. Going with the Sony Ericsson W960i in the fall.
Microsoft only recently announced (in March) that XBL had reached 6 Million users. That number is total XBL subscribers (Free/Silver, Gold) since Live started in 2002.
I haven't seen a number specifying how many Gold 360 subscribers there are yet. Does anyone have a link to this info? Has it been released yet?
Edit: There go the disagreediots(TM) again . Hey, look it up. 6 Million subscribers during 2002 to March 2007. Google's your friend.
You have over 50 360 games.
Buddy, I think you need to spend more time outside.
Seriously.
Hearing that Anchor Bay was supporting Blu-ray was music to my ears. I collect horror films & books, so this is exactly what I needed. The only hold-out now is Universal. I want the Gill-Man and Karloff in 1080p, baby! ;)
The 3 year warranty only covers "RROD" situations. Everything else is still 1 year.
EDIT: Whoever disagreed hasn't read any of the MS interviews or meeting notes. What I was saying has been stated, and re-stated, several times.
I think someone was confused the lack of an EE chip with no compatibility whatsoever.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a $399 40GB version with no pack-in to go along with the 80GB model.
Don't forget, Harrison said during a video interview after the Home/Little Big Planet unveiling that the PS3 would eventually move to software-only emulation and the EE chip would be disabled, I guess only assuming they reached the same or better level of compatibility. It was in...
With the cost difference between the 80GB and 60GB drives being negligible, it's not that much of a stretch to consider a $499 80GB stand-alone PS3. Without a bundled game.
I think we can safely expect to see "a" $499 PS3 continue long past the end of the current 60GB SKU's availability.
I know what I'm going to map onto my Snakeball snake. (And it's not going to be my face.)
At last, someone who can read between the lines!
I think it's unfortunate that a lot of people are being very short-sighted about this issue.
After stock of the NA 60GB model is depleted, which might be millions of units for all we know, there is bound to be a new SKU or package that will be comparable. Look at the timing and the phrasing. For the next few "months" to come the base price will be $499.
Look at an example of what's in the channel: As of March end, there were 5.5M units shipped/sold in...
"Home."
Specifically, a lot more homes than before.
Agreed, to both aboves.
I strongly suspect this game is going to be a watershed game for the series. I have a good feeling about it.
It would be a shame to see it restricted to just one platform concept (i.e. horsepower), so I hope they can squeeze in some ingenuity for a distinctive Wii version too.
There's so much visceral potential in what the PS3 and 360 can offer to this RE episode, but the added control dimensions just simmering under the W...
You're way off. All of their articles have been pointless, erroneous, and just juvenile. Their first one was 5 Best things about the PS3, and I think I trashed that one too. All of their "Best/Worst" pieces have been ridiculed here.
Well, ShockAxis/SixSense or the PS EYE camera. I'm leaning more towards the latter, ATM.
Oh, PLEASE BAN this site from N4G. They've contributed nothing.
As someone in another lasersharks comments section so aptly put it: I hate summer vacation. -- Kids have too much time on their hands.
I have 2 cats. One is black, and one is white. I love them, and my fiance loves them.
These facts are almost as relevant as this news story.
(Please, let's not talk about wetting. See my post #8. Very sensitive.)

While TM:Black is one of my favourite games, the Clowd does resemble the clown-head on the top of the ice-cream truck. I think that's close enough.
