Here is the reality. IF IO are retaining the rights and don't have a major publisher behind them, they will most likely be hurting financially and have no choice but to release hitman as an episodic game. If that tanks IO has a very real possibility of going under. We could then be looking at IO being bought by EA or Activision. And do you think EA or Activision are going to give us anything that resembles a Hitman Blood Money? We will be lucky if it even resembles Absolution at that poin...
I'm fine with season 2 and going forward with the Episodic formula. Worked fine for me
See I liked the episodes. I love stealth games, but in small doses. So I loved being able to take a break from whatever action game I was playing. Play the new Hitman level, then be ready to go back to whatever else I was playing. If I ever needed a stealth fix, there was either a new elusive contract or community challenges or new level available. So for me it worked well for me and I was happy.
I did, the episodic Hitman worked great. There was more than enough content in each level to keep me playing. I loved being able to take a break from whichever other game I was playing at he time to play stealthily with Hitman for a few hours here and there. I still load it up occasionally to do the elusive targets or check out the community challenges
I traded horizon for mass effect. And still have ffxv to play through...... Not enough time
Still have a big backlog. Prey and Nier are next up on the buy list.
I love rpgs, the problem with that is those take about minimum 60 hours. I don't have the time to lay 8 hours a day to finish a game a week after I get it. With games coming out needing 10 patches before they are Playable. I find myself buying a plethora of games around black Friday when they are 20$. That usually keeps me busy through the year. I usually buy a shooter when they come out to play with friends and the occasional AAA (like Horizon). Games are becoming needlessly open worl...
My cousin's girlfriends brother works for Microsoft and says that is certainly not true.
Exactly, I'm completely over this entitled group of whiners that think the world owes them anything at all.
Did the title, America's Army give it away?
No, they break the law then yell at the police for being racist.
Good luck with that
Not only that we have companies talking about changing iconic characters genders. Female Link anyone? It's very clear the SJW's are getting their way, regardless of being the minority. I've nothing against a female lead, but I better believe that a female lead was the decision from the start.
@saijan
We all know they can pump shooters out with little development time. It takes years and years to craft an mmo. We also know the EA does have other developers working on different Star Wars games. We need to be patient and give them the time they need. Or we can bitch that EA released yet another unfinished game.
Amazon charges tax now
I've pledged 2. H hour, which I pledged for a ps4 copy and have never received. Also pledged for vita copy of Bloodstained, so far that looks to be going OK.
I'll buy day one if true. If not only to show support for this type of model to other devs.
Typically a game is optimized for lesser of hardwares because those are the systems with bottlenecks and limits. Then the games "settings" are turned up on the more capable systems. Things like framerate, resolution, Anti-aliasing. These are all messed with to find the best balance of smooth performance and graphic prowess. If time permits they would then optimize for the better systems.
Ps2 had the biggest install base of any console ever. While EP7 of Star Wars surely contributed to sales of Battlefront, Star Wars has always had a large dedicated following.
^ states there are numerous other games that does this already.... Names one
