I'll be very surprised if ssd is standard. The performance is great but cost is way to high. With games taking more and more hdd space ssd would just be a terrible choice. I'd love if the pro level consoles came with an internal ssd boot drive just for os and system level apps but even that seems like wishful thinking. Time will tell but I just don't see ssd's being cheap enough to come pre installed in consoles. Not for a long while anyway.

Ps4 pro wasn't nicknamed a beast and wasn't so vague that people thought it was going to play native 4k games at 60fps. Sony unlike Microsoft wasn't making fun of the competition for using checkerboard rendering just to then turn around and use it themselves. A year later and 100$ more and your getting basically the same thing. And if you don't think the pro doesn't have a price drop about a week before the XoneX comes out, you're wrong.
Still play that game, basically made ps plus for me that year.

Moldy you get down voted because every single cross play article you're the first to comment. Sony stands to gain nothing from cross play. Is it pro consumer? Yes. So would be including a Bose audio system in all vehicles. Or Movie Theatres only charging 5$ for movies on weekends instead of Tuesdays. The only reason Microsoft is doing it is a PR stunt (or to make more people sign up for xbox live, depending on the game) Nintendo currently has the lowest amount of members and a fledgling...

You clearly didn't read my post. It's referring to the article for stating "Giving players the freedom to choose the console of their liking, but at the same time allowing them to play with friends and fans of other systems" which isn't true. If you get matched with your friends in matchmaking sure you will play together, but that's it. There is no cross platform invite system. You can't even invite between Xbox and pc in rocket league without jumping through hoo...
This article states facts of cross play that are simply not true.
As far as Minecraft goes, requiring everyone to play under Xbox live is rediculous. I will be shocked if Sony ever goes for this. If it was the other way around I would be equally shocked if Microsoft ever went for it.
Cross play does NOT allow you to play with your friends on whatever console you want. Its for a larger pool for match making, nothing more. I'm not going to be sending ...
Erik cross platform doesn't even work like that. You can't invite friends from another console to game with you. It is strictly for increased pool of players. You can got search at the same time and hope you get paired , but that's it. This really isn't a big deal.
