@oneshot speaking of looking stupid......
I've built my pc than you very much. And no where in my original post did I say pc wasnt optimized. I said consoles get better optimization (which is true since there is only 1 (now 2)configurations of a console to worry about .
We all know pcs don't come close to the level of optimisation of consoles. We also know that gpus have been increasing in power quite exponentially the last few years. Now I'm not saying consoles will run everything 4k60 in 3 or 4 years but I don't think to will be unheard of.
I do, a 3d plasma 1080p,but 4k will have to start offering some amazing content to make me upgrade. Unless OLED becomes reasonable in the next couple years, then I may be persuaded
It has no exclusives! So anyone that will buy it will buy it for power, and chances are pretty damn high that you could build a more powerful pc cheaper, hell you could still even play the games with an Xbox controller. The console has no draw!
Sony didn't "announce" a 6tflop "monster" 6 months before its actual reveal. Ps4 pro was never touted as being able to run everything in native 4k,qne while Microsoft hasn't said that about Scorpio, they have done nothing to temper those expectations.
It gives the game depth. Unfortunately it's not for me, I was excited when the game was first announced, but the betas have not sold me. I'm sure this game will have a small dedicated following that love the challenge of the rock paper scissors set up, but everyone else.... It will be a no go.
I'm sure someone beat me to it, but they usually have 2 advantages....
So because you don't own them you think the fact is that NO games run native 4k on ps4 pro?
GOTY for this fact alone!
Backwards compatibility and 4k blu ray for ps4. And lack of true exclusives /new ips on Xbox. Yeah Nintendo definitely isn't alone.
But 128 million gamers are missing!
The phones that are more powerful retail for anywhere from 600 to 900 dollars. Doesn't seem like a bad deal at 300
These will be on shelves day one that they release. Will be all the last minute canceled orders the scalpers didn't sell.
I bought a ps4 at launch and he's right. It was mostly multiplats that looked better than there ps3 counterpart. I actually played more of my ps3 than ps4 for the first 6 months of launch.
My PS golds have held up since the day I got them, which was the day they released.
Considering people pay triple that for mobile tech seems like a good price point.
Games, thats it. Without games there is no point in stronger hardware. And if the insiders are to be believed Microsoft doesnt understand this.
Idk, it is worrisome but I'm also hopeful that it's just so we can discover everything ourselves. I have the game pre-orders but I'll wait a week to open it to make sure it's not fodder.
I've been debating if I should sell my copy and wait for the updates. My back log is big enough as is and there are some really great games coming out early this year.
It's run and gun because you are playing it that way
