This is most likely why Sony didn't agree to cross play. I guarantee Microsoft wanted to handle everything on their end. If it was the other way around I guarantee Microsoft wouldn't be agreeing to cross play either
You know a lot of games have been confirmed dynamic 4k because they can't get native 4k to actually work on the BEAST right?

Maybe they want people to have to buy a ps4 to play with their friends. That's a pretty big reason. If I'm on the fence about buying a switch or a ps4 and majority of my friends are on ps4, knowing ps4 won't do cross play might sway me to buy a ps4 over the switch. If Sony allows cross play and I'm playing with someone on Xbox and I hear about this cool feature that Xbox can do over playstation I might be rethinking my purchase choice. Doesn't bother me ( I don't have anyone with an Xbox) would it be nice? Sure. Seems like the shareholders don't want it (for whatever out of touch reason they came up with) it is what it is, if it comes, sweet, if not no big deal.

Little underwhelmed tbh. I know Sony loves to save something for Paris game show and gamescom so maybe that's where the big surprises will be. Spiderman looks great and I'm stoked we are getting monster hunter world! God of war and days gone looked great as well. Unfortunately no Megatons, monster hunter was the biggest surpirse

The ps4 has been 50% more powerful than the x1 for years. And until now that has been "negligible" unless ypu compare side by side. You think the differences will be that noticeable at 4k? Keep dreaming
It's "technically" more expensive. And "technically" has far less true exclusives. The only thing buying an Xbox X future proofs against, is having a great selection of exclusive games

Looks good but the questions that need to be answered:
What's post game content?
Are the side quests tied to the game at all or is it just stuff to check off on your quest for loot?
Will all the characters looks the same at the end because there are only certain pieces of "ultimate" gear?
Those are the questions I have, as someone who got sucked into the Destiny hype when it was unveiled, I need to see more before I let ...
