You make a good point. it brings to mind Insomniac Games, who went Multiplatform with 'Fuse'. They probably sold less copies than if they remained exclusive, arguably because they would have capitalised on the one system to make a better game. The Last of Us did amazingly well becasue it is an amazingly well made game.

If this is a fact, then it follows that Titanfall cannot be a console exclusive. When was the last time EA made a console exclusive game?

I understand that 2K cut the marketing budget for The Bureau, and after playing the game I can understand why. It is just not an 'XCOM' game. They really would have been forgiven much if it was simply a new franchise they called 'The Bureau'. However trying to tack on (or not), XCOM elements simply strangled the game and gave it no room ...

Exactly what I was thinking. Definitely not forgotten. We're kinda all getting swept away by the hype train for GTA V. But TLOU not forgotten at all, especially as peeps are still trying to survive the 12 weeks of MP scavenging :)
I'm really not liking the news I'm hearing about the PS4 version looking really downgraded. They haven't even shown the game running on XOne yet. I know I know, it's developed for PC an ported down for the 'next-gen' consoles.

Exactly. If they're going to start with subs, they should at least offer the boxed game for free. On PC I get that some of the hardcore will subscribe, (remember this same argument with Lord of the Rings Online and that went F2P), but I don't see console gamers subscribing. Heck DCUO had to go F2P on consoles.
You make good points, but there is the one glaring counter point. Subscription fee. Most people I know ( and judging from what I read on the net) won't pay a subscription fee to play ESO. That right there will have a knock-on effect on the future and sustainability of the game.
While most of us already can guess that GTA V will get 10/10 across the board, especially when you take into account GTA Online as well. However isn't this is 'review score' a bit early to be from a legit review? Just sayin.
Hopefully the next gen versions will come bundled with the expansion. I'm holding out for the PS4 version. GTA V will tide moe over until then :)
With GTA V, I know I'll be living in that world for a looong time, so there's no rush. Plus GTA Online doesnt launch for 2 weeks after anyways ( I doubt I would have even completed the game in two weeks tbh).
the real questions the media and social services should be asking is why an 8 year old boy is allowed to play an M rated game (any M rated game let alone GTA IV). Also why an 8 year old by has access to a loaded firearm?
Only if those exclusives are really used to push the hardware, and only very few devs this gen have done that. Not wanting to sound like a fanboy, but Sony devs know how to make their exclusives outshine the competition.
Looks like I'll be getting mine from Amazon. They usually deliver on time, but even if I don't mind waiting a day or two.
