The proof that Microsoft have yet to redeem themselves is borne out in pre-order numbers.
The pre-order numbers suggest overwhelmingly that gamers this gen have (initially at least) sided with Sony and the PS4.
Policy reversals, Fifa 14 bundles, Forza bundles, Titanfall etc etc have not done enough to reverse the low pre-order numbers.

For GTA V, I've gone into Blackout. No reviews, no leaked gameplay footage, no torrent, nothing. I'll take whats already been given by Rockstar, and nothing else.
I don't want the rabid internet to spoil my virgin GTA V play through.
It's great that at this late stage in the consoles life cycle, it still has strong exclusive line up. I have really good hopes for the coming PS4 game library (I'm hoping Beyond 2 Souls gets enhanced for PS4), but in any case will be eagerly anticipating what David Cage and Quantic will do on PS4. Maybe a bona fide interactive gamefilm.

And I completely agree with you, and would not be surprised it if gets announce for XbOne in the future. That's how the games industry works in order to maximise profit. To deny it because of blind fanboy loyalty is disingenious.

You make a good point about Splinter Cell Conviction. That was published by Ubisoft if memory serves me right. I belive Far Cry Instincts(predator?) was also exclusive to the 360. Again it was publisehd by Ubisoft. So yeah I accept there are exceptions to the rule. However Ubisoft is not EA. Titanfall is being published by EA.

You're obviously new to the gaming industry and the concept of timed exclusivity by third party publishers. Well allow me to explain it to you.
Titanfall is being published by EA. EA is not owned by Microsoft. Therefore Microsoft would have to pay a tidy sum of money to EA to have a period of exclusivity on the XBone.

I can't wait for the 6 month M$ exclusivity deal to expire on Titanfall, so I can play this on the PS4.

Competition is good for the gaming industry, and if it was not for Sony, M$ would have screwed everyone over. It's just that people are buying into the cold hard lies, that M$ has been spewing out that the XBone is somehow better than the PS4.

Absolutely. Fanstastic single player campaign, even more fantastic multiplayer. The multiplayer rivals not only those of KZ2 & KZ3, but it is actually on par with (and in some case better than) the other multiplyayer shooters out there.

Man that is a Solid line up for all three Sony platforms. Great to see the PS Vita love, but also the strong PS3 line up as well. Great times to be in th3 Sony camp :)

Seriously though, who is going to care about the reviews? GTA games transcend reviews.
It really is quite poor for the Official Playstation Magazine to vote for a third party title as it's must play PS4 game. And not just any title, but an Assassins Creed title. A franchise that everyone acknowledges is getting stale.
It's not been announced yet, but I can bet it's either going to be a subscription model, or f2p micro-transaction model. I hope they make it like Guild Wars where you only pay for the boxed (or digital) copy of the game, but I can't see Activision allowing that.
Unfortunately that may well be the case. I'll bet my house though, that GTA V will be the better game.
I think Haze has to be the most dissapointing game of the generation. You have to remember the level of hype it was generating, you have to remember it was helmed by Free Radical of Timesplitters fame, you have to remember the PS3/360 flame wars. Not only did Haze bomb so badly, but it took down Free Radical with it.

Pre-order numbers are a direct indication of demand. At present there is much more demand for the PS4 than XbOne.
The thing is that increased demand breeds more demend (the Wii is a prime example of this). The higher demand for a PS4 will feedback into the consumer minset, which will have the effect of feeding demand over the coming years.
