how perfect dark zero has an 81 metascore is beyond me. it just shows how lenient critics are towards xbox games. They all jumped on haze, when really the only problem was that it was "bland" and "mediocre." Perfect dark zero is a broken, primitive, ugly mess.
Also, I find it hard to believe that Last of us didn't even make it in the top ten in the PS3 list. We are expected to believe that people are more hyped about the sequels to two highly mediocre games (prototype and metal of honor) than the new IP of one of the top developers this generation? please.

it pretty much eliminates every major genre of hardcore games besides rail shooters. The kinect is inherently incompatible with hardcore gaming.
kotaku loves to bash western games while praising JRPGs that get metascores in the 50-65 range over here. They arent really a trusted source for reviews

I dont think the wii u tablet controllers will have the same appeal. the biggest appeal of tablets is
1) the portability
2) the apps (goes hand in hand with portability)
3) the micro purchases and online stores
i dont think the wii u controller will draw in that crowd. and I dont think all the hardcore gamers from the PS3 and xbox are ...
they should just stick to the portable consoles, honestly. the console industry didn't need anything the wii brought to the table. the same goes for the wii u, it looks like.
