all the vita really needs is more support from the PSN store, namely minis and downloadable titles. I think the pixeljunk games, velocity, and hungry giraffe are on there. its a good start.

if they want to make a toy/game combination to rake in kids' money, fine. but why drag spyro into it? hasnt that franchise been raped enough?
killzone 3 was better than killzone 2. far better controls, better melee, better character leveling, a more diverse campaign, better graphics. it didnt have those terrible spawn camping grenades that KZ2 had. the repairing and reviving controls were better.
the online flows alot better in KZ3 and it is just more fun than KZ2. I played KZ3 for months and never got tired of it. it is a fantastic game. people just like to whine

I havent kept up on the game, as of late. what is the progress that has been made in fixing it and what progress is going to be made in the future, before the PS3 release?
I still hold out hope that they can make it into a good game if they get their shit together.

If IGN is automatically considered suspect for giving this game 13 points above the metascore, what about sites like edge and metrogamer who consistently rate PS3 games far below the metascore?
IGN, on average, rates games of all platforms within 1 poin...
games should be rated on their overall appeal. So why cant certain "sectioned off" aspects of the game be ignored?
you are basically saying
superb MP(only) = superb game 9/10
superb MP (the same from above) + mediocre SP = average game 7.5/10
does this system really represent the value that one gets out of a game? the second one has everything that the one has, plus more and yet it is inferior? that makes no sense. ...
the review is utter trash. he barely even brushes over the "build and battle" system, which has so much depth that you could write pages about it, and is clearly the biggest draw of the game, not the combat itself.
the review is severely lacking in detail and is extremely pedantic. i give this review a 2/10

you dont need a $1000 PC in order to play minecraft
ANY PC that was manufactured in the last 7 years will run it easily. whatever you are using to type this comment will run minecraft.
All you have to do is go to the minecraft site and click the giant shiny download button.
there is no excuse to not do this. well, except ignorance. and lets face it. the people buying the xbox version are casuals who know nothing about the game.

or you could get the REAL version of minecraft on the PC, that the REAL fans of the series play. the people getting it on xbox live will pick it up, play it a few days, and then never touch it again. which is just as well, because its not like that version will have the mods, user content, server features, and so on, which gives minecraft its true longevity.
