I was wondering why you had 2 bubbles....Then I read your post.

MS should buy Free Radical, merge them back in with Rare and make the next real Perfect Dark :)
Then why would DVD playback even matter to you then...
The issue with the FragFX is that the mouse does not behave as a real mouse attached to a PC. The reason for this is the mouse has to play within the bounds of what the Right analogue stick can do (or left depending on the game) so it will always be limited to this level of control. I don't think hardware would be able to work around this problem as the game is designed for use with the analogue stick in mind.
For example, when you push the analogue stick as far left or right ...
I don't think so. Maybe some of the built in games may work ok but you can forget about playing relatively new PC games with it. I mean think about it, if YDL is using the memory for gfx for temporary storage, what's it going to use for the game itself? Plus the fact that access to the RSX is blocked by the HyperVisor to begin with.

This is ancient news

If this game scores 7+ on average I'll probably get it though. I loved Uncharted and if this game is even half as good as it it will keep me tied over until Uncharted 2 arrives next year hopefully.
COD6 will most likely be hitting at the end of 2009, that will definitely put up competition to KZ2 and with COD4 being so successful it is a definite contender in the FPS market.
Can anyone tell me iss this the kind of RPG with real time fighting (like Zelda) or is it Turned based fighting?
I'm not a fan of Turned based fighting so I hope it's realitime.
Great review, hopefully this will shutup all the nay sayers now.
This game has been getting good reviews so far. Glad I pre-ordered it.
Totally different games perhaps? This game tries to do something new gameplay wise.
lol @ disagree, I guess someone enjoys the host ended game and ringing noise down the mics in the lobby.
I believe the crappy 'Host Ended Game' still exists. I read a Q&A with one of the dev's from Treyarch and they said COD3 had Host Migration because it used a p2p match-making system, but COD:WaW uses the same Client/Server match-making system as COD4 so there will be no host migration. It's pretty lame, you would think it's something they sort out. I hope they will at least let use Mute in the Lobby!
Good, don't buy it then. Leave it for others to enjoy.
I agree reaper. In R1, because you had to watch your health as it was limited it made the game alot of challenging. With the health re-generation it seems to have changed things. It does seem alot of modern day shooters are now adopting this style so maybe it works better. Gone are the days of picking up health packs :)
The 1st one was fantastic. It has some of the best physics and enemy AI I have come across in a game. The suspense/horror moments the game produces was great too.
Graphically it doesn't look all that different to the first one though.
I had it for PC when it came out but I heard the consoles had a fairly rough port of it as the port was not done by the main developers. Maybe this time the main developers are also doing it for the PS3 and 360.
To be honest I don't think any developer would have much luck with this. Game to Movie tie-in's for a movie blockbuster release never work. They all suck. Plus there is no room for delay, they need to be released the same time as the movie in most cases.
Curse of the black Pearl is at 19.
But yeah, TDK should be there and also as someone said above, The Nightmare before Christmas.
