Um.... It's a search engine. you just go to the web address and put in your search. There's no teaming up involved to do this.
Some of the comments here about boycotting are pretty funny.
I'll be buying the game when it released. Why? Because I really enjoyed MW1 and still play it today almost 2 years after it's released because it's a great game. Plus the price of the game isn't going to be any different here in Europe. Usually new games are €65 - €70 here and that's what MW2 is priced at as well. So for me to boycott COD:MW2 based on price then I would have to be boycotting all other new releases too that we...
For a moment I had this title confused with Rockstars 'The Agent'
lol, that's ironic. Didn't see that article but since yesterday COD4 has been overrun with hackers online for the PS3...ruining the game for everyone.
Not if the Skype app was loaded on demand. I wouldn't want to load it in a game but it would be useful to use just from the XMB without anything running. I'm sure everything is not loaded into memory when the console is initially booted. Some of it must be saved to the hard drive I would imagine as the PS3 firmware files are quite large to download but the article mentions a 74mb footprint back when 1.8 was released.
If the Skype app was just on the hard drive portion of it and...
A couple of reasons why people prefer hard copies.
1) you can swap games with friends. Not sure how that would work with digital downloads
2) you can sell your game used if you've finished it and no longer want it
3) you can purchase used games cheaper than new retail.
I just hope the PSP Go doesn't split the community. I feel they should have remained with the PSP 3000 and just worked on a UMD-less dual stick PSP 2 with higher h/w specs...
"COD4 at the time, had graphics beyond most any game on the market because they put so much time into development"
They are putting just as much time into the development of MW2. They released COD2 towards the end of 2005, and COD4 towards the end of 2007. So MW2 is getting just as much developement time as its predecessors.
He actually has a point, most of my PSN friends have gone back to playing COD4 too.
I wouldn't say the multiplayer in KZ2 sucks though. But for alot of COD4 players it doesn't have the same gripping addictive gameplay. I think one of the things that makes COD4 more interesting is the number of weapons along with the dynamic customization that the perks introduced. Plus it must have double the number of maps as KZ2.
I still play both as they both offer a different...
I really wish they weren't charging $10 for the DLC on Consoles. $5 would have been a much more respectable price. Just add the figures up, $10 x 1 million is $10m they just made from this.
There is no way hell the maps cost that much to develop. The game has only been out about 5 months. And game developers / graphic designers wages sure aint that high. They probably made their entire production cost of the game off the map pack content alone.
And if there's 1mi...
Isn' this the second time this game caused crashes. From what I remember the initial release used to crash too for having more that 50 friends on the PSN list.
Maybe I'll hold off a little before downloading the patch to see if the patch gets patched.
"PS3Center.net reviews Capcom's recent title; F.E.A.R. 2 for the PlayStation 3"
Guys, it's Monolith, not Capcom. :)
The single player campaign is really good in this game. It lacks the scary moments that the first one brought but it has a solid story throughout the game. Multiplayer is very weak though, will see if the free mappack stuff in April brings anything decent.
This is the only reason I stopped playing. It's just too laggy any time I've tried. It makes your character skid across the map or making jumping impossible sometimes due to lag. Or when players are connecting you get this burst of lag for about 30seconds - 1minute which is frustrating. Am disappointed to hear it hasn't been resolved yet.
Completely agree with you bassturd. Sometimes the controls hinder the gameplay and make aiming more difficult than it should be. I don't mind the weight of the controls as much as when you are looking down the site of the weapon and slowly trying to edge up the crosshair. It can be quite difficult to get an in-between which is very frustrating. For such a great game it's a minor gripe but I do wish the controls would be just a bit tighter.
COD:WaW on PS3 - Feb 27th - R.I.P.
I have a feeling the EU demo is going to be region locked to comply with the Demo giveaway for Gamestop in the US. We'll find out soon enough.
lmao, amazing! People are still complaining when this game receives a 9.4, 0.6 from a perfect score....jeez!
I'll be buying this, and also KZ2. No reason why I cannot play both.
But you also seem to forget this is also coming out on two other systems where KZ2 is not.
I never knew Dell sold PS3's. Is this just a US thing?
It used to be 50. It's 100 now for about the last year.
