I would of had F.E.A.R. in this list at least...
dingleplayer? Is this a new game mode. Is it a cross between single and dual?
Here you can get Xbox 360 Premium, Halo 3, PGR4 and Forza 2 + a 2nd Wireless controller all for €399. I thought that was really good. But I just went out and bought a PS3 earlier. I may get the 360 deal closer to xmas though as it's got good games with it and future titles I'd like to play (Mass Effect, Fable 2, Alan Wake)
Everything Free Radical has done to date has been a FPS except Second Sight. I would hardly say thats > than Rare. Rare have produced some of the best IP games to date. Killer Instinct, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo, Conker, Blast Corps. They've put out alot of games in different Genre's all quite successful. I still feel Rare games belong on Nintendo Console's though. Their graphics and style always seem to be more suited to it's market. Viva Pinata looks like a great ...
Damn Nasim, you're like a broken record the way you output the same trash in every comment.
The pricedrop has convinced me to get a PS3 because it has some upcoming games that I'd like to play, namely Haze, UT3 and Uncharted.
But pass me whatever you're smoking because with comments like "BY 2007 x360 will be fully dead. Wii would also be overtaken at the beginning of 2008" it must be giving one hell of a trip.
x360 has 11m - 12m install base alr...
Not too sure about Time Crisis 4. The lastest gameplay video of it on Gametrailers makes it looks absolutely terrible, almost looks worse than an Virtua Cop 1
Wow, either someone doesn't like you MK Red or they didn't like Timesplitters to disagree with you. I thought Timesplitters was a great game as its gameplay felt alot like Goldeneye and I loved that one.
Just from reading the statement again:
"The existing Starter Pack*, comprising a 60GB PS3 with extensive backwards compatibility, an additional SIXAXIS wireless controller and two first party titles will be reduced in price to €499. Remaining on sale while stocks last, the 60GB model represents outstanding value for the keen gamer wishing to upgrade to the High Definition capabilities of PS3.
*In the UK and Ireland, the Starter Pack will be replaced by a separate in...
This is exactly what I was thinking.
Why would anyone want to buy the 40GB version now with the 60GB Value Pack only €100 extra. I mean if you're getting the 40GB with no game then you're talking €460 with a game. Why not just pay the extra €40 for 20gb more, more USB ports, BC, 1 extra game and an additional pad.
I know what one I'l be getting now :)
I wouldn't go as far as saying they suck, but they don't play the same as on the PC. I think UT3 on the PS3 might be different though.
1. It's to support keyboard and mouse which is a big plus
2. the PS3 is to support mods in the game too although they will be c
created from the PC.
These would be two of the main things that make a PC FPS better than a console IMO.
Sonic 3 I think. you had to turn the blue sphere's into red ones in the spherical world. Sonic 2 had the half pipe of rings with Tails.
The Euro is at a record high to the US Dollar. you get about $1.41 for every €1 now. UK still use pound Sterling. You get roughly $2 for every £1
Agreed,
I'd be fine with a December release. As November has COD4 and Haze I think?
The way things are going the Consoles will do a circle and end up being PC's again. I'm not going to complain about a welcomed PS3 price drop though. If the 40gb isn't sold for $399 or less though I'll not be getting one until it does.
While the PC is free I have to disagree with you. The PC community is very scattered in the applications used for network gaming. You have gamespy, xfire, ventrilo, teamspeak just to name a few. There's no standard on the PC right now. people just use whatever works best for a game. xfire is probably the most widely used but I'm not sure they are comparable.
I'm curious to know if PS3 owners believe the PSN will always be free? Right now it's a major plus that it's free but when I think about, what will they do when they have 15 - 20million ps3 owners? Surely it would put a strain on the existing network and they would need alot more servers to cater for it all. Will this level of hardware service all be offered for free or 2 or 3 years down the line will the people have to start paying a fee to use certain parts of the PSN.
"as a ps3 owner i would never buy a low powered console"
So does that mean you never owned a ps2 last gen as it was the lowest powered console after gamecube and xbox? I think you need to realise games sell consoles, not power.
Wow, what age are you...9?
You know some people have the Wii so they can have some fun with their friends when they're around and having a few drinks. If it's providing entertainment then it's doing its job as that's what consoles are for.
Yes, if this is true then I will certainly be picking one up. otherwise it's still too much at €600
Weren't the N64 games really expensive too? I remember paying alot of money for those ones.
