This press conference is absolutely horrible.
Soooooo cringeworthy and the acting is awful.
What about Free Radical? I would have said they had a really good track record too until Haze, which led to their demise.
But Alan Wake does look like a very good game and Remedy have developed good games so far.
yeah, shame on the developers for fixing issues with the game by issuing patches. /sarcasm.

My friend told me this game is going to be $60 when it comes out, is this true? seems a little pricey for an online only game, unless it comes with a headset or something like Warhawk did.
Not enough combat? really? I probably would have preferred more exploration or puzzle solving as I found there to be a lot of combat.
I agree with the final score though, it is an 8 out of 10 but still an excellent game.
Jumping at the edge of platforms was sometimes unresponsive and the camera angles could be awkward at times.
I agree with the spawning. 80% of the time when you kill someone they will spawn right behind you.
Anyone know that the 'Public "private" match fixed' is about?
Is it so that I can lock my Private Party match from others joining the session? If so that would be a welcome feature.

Indeed, it's the main reason I don't play this game anymore. It was always a complete lagfest for me any time I connected to someone or they connected to me. It made jumping almost impossible.
I love western themed games and this looks great.
Won't they need the 'Other OS' feature to make use of them, and that feature no longer exists in the PS3 Slim. Unless they will also be getting SDK's from Sony too.
That's my fav Spec Ops mission. It's so awesome playing with a buddy, taking out each patrol on sync.
Agreed, I think the best supported game on the PS3 with free DLC has got to be Unreal Tournament 3. If only other companies would follow.
It's sad to see not many people got the KZ2 packs. There's hardly anyone online to play them with and this explains why. Part of the reason was probably the pricing. Here in Europe they were slightly overpriced IMO.
Even the music sounds like Zelda and the story introduction.

This isn't entirely true. For things like Store purchases and Game Event information you will receive a nagging message box on screen each time asking if you still want to publish this information. Eric stated this in the video preview he made. It would be nice if they added the option to automatically confirm these things instead of it asking me if I want to publish...
Game is getting great scores all around. Another great multi-plat game. Too many games this time of year to pick up, just need the money.

I think they should delay the game until next year and work on it until it's a better product. It's due for release in mid October and from what I've seen, I don't think they can deliver a great game by then. Instead it will only be average or good at best and we will have to sit through several patches. It seems they are just aiming to release it before Black Ops and make a few quick sales.
