I know so many peope preordering the import. I even know a few people who are importing the actual FF13 PS3 console because they only own a 360.

I'm always put off the figures by the joints. I wish they'd release more 'static' figures with no joints, and ones that don't cost around 200 bones to get, as those are ridiculous.
Very funny... in reality we'll probably get none of it, though. Maybe the soundtrack and a few posters. Do they sell the action figures in the West? I think I saw some FF9 ones in a store once.
Lots of stuff really, isn't it? There wasn't even this much MW2 merch I can think of, but I suppose that's a different audience. Shows the power of FF though, I bet Square makes themselves a ton off this.
Even if there's no english subs, there'll be fan subs and explanations within days. I'm not fluent but I'm importing to enjoy the battle system and great graphics. :D
I wonder if there'll be no moogles. maybe it'll be like FF7's world where they're plush toys but not real animals.
Game & Soundtrack for me. Importing PS3 version and then I will try the 360 version for the Western release. :) Can't be bothered with the rest, though that lightning sword keyring is damn cool...
I would say there's a lot of replayability. With how linear the plot is, I could see myself wanting to replay it again - it'd be almost like rewatching a movie if you rushed through it - and there's a ton of game modes - minigames if you will - that all have different controls from shooting to fishing and dancing and all sorts. Many optional.
FF theme songs have never been great, but I think this is what disappoints me most. I like the song to match the game, not just be a loose licensed one.
No Japanese song in the English release at all. Sorry :(

The multiplayer was pretty pants, but Fable II was better experienced single-player anyway. I felt the co-op and the orbs etc ruined the experience.
IU had some good ideas, but one of the best on the system? I'm not sure..
I was thinking about how cool a HD remake of these games would be earlier today, actually..
Dragon Age is mentioned, but it says because the PC version is so far superior it missed the list for Xbox, which is fair comment. The game rocks but is way better on PC.
Loved Puzzle quest, and this has the greatest puzzle game guys and the greatest RPG guys joining forces...
I guess in the end it depends how long FF13 is and how far apart they are, but FF13 is to RPGs what MW2 is to shooters and if I were publishing an RPG I would get the hell out of its way.
It's even worse on the Xbox, as there's a double-whammy there of Mass Effect 2 and FF13 within a couple of months of each other. I don't think there are any major RPG releases on that, though. The Mass Effect situation might sound like the same, but obviously ME2 is massively different in style,...
All over this. Boxart is sexy as hell.
I suppose 3 months is a long wait, especially if the other big RPGs between now and then don't appeal to you - me, I know I'm too busy right now with Borderlands & Dragon Age and then in January Mass Effect 2 arrives!
