Maybe Sony and MS should collaborate on a joint console after all. Let Nintendo and Sony/MS compete. That way the hardcore gamers won't be missing any great games, and the casual gamers can buy a Nintendo. Both MS and Sony are a different breed from Sega. MS and Sony are both huge companies that make the majority of their income in areas other than video games, so they have huge funding. Not to mention, they both have huge fanbases and excellent third party support. Nintendo, Sony and MS will be the "Big 3" for the foreseeable future, bank on it.
