But to all the PS3 guys who are hell bent on the 360's failure, I just have to say, c'mon, they can't all be great. That's a lesson you guys learned the hard way with Lair and Haze. You laugh so much, and that's cool, but you don't think that the PS3 won't have anymore over-hyped flops? It just happens from time to time, no matter which console you have.
Yeah, the 360's really dying, except for the fact that Gears 2 will outsell any PS3 release this year including MGS4, and the fact that more games are sold on the 360.
360 fans don't start petitions because former exclusives become multi-platform. How gay is that? That's a Sony fan-tard move.

I've played Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 split screen. I'm not a big fan of the split screen. If I have a friend over, I'd rather play a game with a single-frame screen such as Bomberman Live, and save games like the other to for playing over Live.
Morganfell, so that's why you're so bitter against MS, because you had some 360's fail on you. I can't really blame you, I'd be bitter too if it happened multiple times. So was the 360 your first choice, but you got so discouraged that now you can't stand it?
MS claiming sales for all of the 360 replacements? Maybe MS really does copy Sony. Didn't they do that with PS2? We'll never know since it's pure speculation.

I can't wait for that day. After that point, graphics will eventually become an afterthought, since they will all be expected to be life-like. Then game makers will have to focus on [gasp]...story telling, game-play, and innovation - imagine that.

juuken, I can respect that. I never knew that you so heavily considered getting a 360. I can't blame you for not getting it because of the RROD issues. I was nervous when I got my 360 (it was still new at the time). I agree, rushing the 360 to market is inexcusable.
I heavily considered getting the PS3, but 3 factors made me go with the 360: 1. the controller - I hate the PS controller. 2. my friends all have the 360. 3. I like the 360 games better.

I can't stand people who want to censor entertainment, especially when it has to be purchased and physically brought into the home. The ESRB makes it very easy on the parents. Some responsibility has to fall back on the parents.

Yeah, Sony's arrogance towards developers is part of the reason that the PS3 isn't the dominant force PS2 was, and that more and more Sony 3rd party exclusives are coming aboard to the 360 (and selling more on that platform!).
I will say though, many things stated above as being "arrogant" for both sides seems like nothing more than good business to me.
