Nonetheless, I like Obama and really like Joe Biden, so they'll most likely get my vote. I don't know if Obama can really live up to all of his ambitions, but I think he has the better chance of making America a better place after a term or two.

The Xbox 360 has been abusive to the PS3. Every time the 360 goes near the PS3, the PS3 cowers in fear and yells, "Here, here, have another of my exclusives!". Then the 360 snickers and says, "yeah, that's right, b!tch" as he calmly walks away.
Well said Twizlex. As much as people don't want to admit it, Sony does rip things off just like the others. They probably would indeed still not have triggers on their crappy non-ergonomically correct controller to this day. Not to mention, they wouldn't have built PSN at the pace they did if MS didn't usher us into the future of gaming with Live.
I never thought I'd see the day when MS was in some sort of demand over there. I know they're not in Nintendo or Sony demand, but it's better than they were doing. How was MS supposed to know which game would cause the demand? Hopefully they'll get some more shipments over there while they're still hot.
How so? Switching discs is not a big deal. Microsoft is home to more 9's and above than the PS3 is.
I don't know if I like the idea of a Halo title being a launch title, since that will lead to a shortage problem worse than the last time around.
But then again, I won't get the next Xbox right away, I'll wait a little bit in case there are any bugs. I don't expect there to be a significant hardware problem like they had with the 360. MS doesn't want to learn another billion dollar lesson the hard way.

Halo is one of the most successful franchises ever. But of course when any game has been out for awhile, it will cool off and more attention will go to newer titles. It works that way in every genre of entertainment. Then, when the next Halo comes out, it will be Halo-Mania all over again.
Needless to say Halo along with COD4 has dominated Live since its release. Not too shabby.
Mr. Bot, don't forget about Left 4 Dead, that game will rule! And Gears 2 (that TWO) will indeed out sell everything else AND kick ass at the same time! And the GTA DLC? Hopefully another great storyline with more great game play.
Pwnsauce, even if the PS3 eventually passes the 360, which will probably eventually happen but is not guaranteed, it doesn't mean doom for the 360. If the PS3 stays in third, do you think it will spell doom for it, or will it have enough market share to sustain itself? I've got news for you, financially, the PS3 is in the most trouble as far as making a profit goes.
Thanks to the Wii and the 360 taking big chunks out of Sony's market share, all 3 should be just fine. :-D

I don't see anywhere where it says he took the RE4 mechanics system. GeOW has an over the shoulder view similar to RE4, but it's more fast paced and plays totally different.

Yeah, HUGE DLC to the highest selling game this generation, or possibly any, for $20. Gee, who would want that [rolls eyes]. Sony fans have been downplaying this for a long time because they wish they could play it. If the DLC storyline is anywhere near as good as the main storyline, then it'll be worth it.
Needless to say, I played the hell out of GTA, so I won't get the DLC right away, but I will get it.
I have never heard them say that, but even so, the games play nothing like each other. You make them sound one and the same.
Gears and RE4 have the same "game mechanic"? What are you smoking? Gears is based on a cover system, and is more fast-paced. Gears is supposed to feel like you're playing a big-budget summer blockbuster. That game didn't copy any other, it's one of a kind.
RE4 has a totally different control scheme and is much more slow and methodical. You can't even strafe in RE. It does not have a cover system, and it is based on surprise and suspense more than GeoW.

Siligon, I doubt you'll see a huge marketing campaign where they want everyone to go out and replace their controllers for such a subtle difference. They will just gradually take the place of the old ones on store shelves, that's all.
I'm glad they improved the D-pad. It was the only imperfection on the controller.
Most 360 games look the same or better than their PS3 counterparts and load just as fast, compressed data or not. That's just the way it is.
