I have a feeling that the upcoming technology that MS will debut with its Zune online store that feature intant 1080P streaming will eventually make its way over to Netflix streaming, especially with the new exclusive partnership.
I'm not taking anything away from BluRay, it looks great. However, having a huge library available for instant streaming with good picture quality is awesome! And the pic quality will improve with time.
Why? Is it made in Japan or Mexico?
It looks like Chad Warden needs to Return to elementary school so that he can learn to write and construct an intelligent thought.
I smell jealousy in some of the posts above.
With the action being more tactical, I may actually enjoy this more than Halo 3 itself.
I try to keep my friends list very limited anyway. I don't want to get the pop up every two seconds letting me know one of my friends is online. I know I can always disable it, but I'd rather not.
Oh ok, my bad. But the fact is that GT is indeed the biggest powerhouse in the racing genre, and one of the most successful franchises period. However no PS3, or any other Xbox exclusives for that matter will do Halo numbers. Halo is a beast unto itself.
I do play Halo 3, but very rarely do I play online against people. My favorite games to play online are Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and Gears 2.
@Rememberthe357 - The GT series has sold over 50 million copies. Impressive, but the series currently consists of 12 games (13 when GT5) comes out. Halo 3 - ONE GAME, has managed to sell 1/5 of this, 10 million. Amazing!
The average selling GT game sells 4.16 million copies, maybe a little less considering some GTs have come bundled with PS's. That number does make GT a powerhouse in the video game world, but they aren't Halo numbers, sorry!
@1.2 All Time Great...
All video games are art. It takes the collaboration of many skilled and talented people to make one, especially a great one.
"Due to the accellerated growth of the XBox 360, and the stagnating sales of the PS3, it's possible the gap has been shortened even further."
Breaking this down into simple terms, suppose there are 10 PS3 owners total, each with 5 games. That's 50 games to 10 consoles, or 5:1. Pretty good. Now suppose there are 30 360 owners, each with only 2 games. That's 60 games to 30 consoles, only a 2:1 ratio. Not quite as good of an attach rate, but the 360 has more total gam...
Let's wait until more than one of the "Jasper" units fail before saying it has a problem. No electronic device gets a 100% success rate, including the PS3. PS2s weren't exactly the most reliable machine either. Maybe the number 2 is a curse for both MS and Sony. They have both had hardware problems with their second console.
Obama's not exactly lighting the world on fire either. His approval ratings are at around 50%.
Mooey, I will admit that the Joker level gives the PS3 version the edge. But it doesn't mean that the PS3 version LOOKS better graphically.
Like most comparisons we've seen, the 360 version looks a little crisper while the PS3 version is slightly more blurry. Like in the very first picture for example, if you looks at the vest that the old man is wearing, you'll see more detail in the fabric on the 360 version.
For that reason, I think the 360 has the ever so sli...
WRPGs blow JRPGs OUT OF THE WATER, period. Most JRPGs can't even compare Fallout, Oblivion and Mass Effect.
360usetobegood - "Baaaaa Baaaaa"...I always knew you Sony fangirls were a bunch of sheep.
Something tells me you never liked the 360 to begin with. Your name doesn't even make sense. How can a console not be good anymore? A console never has less games than it did before, and it receives updates so it's constantly improving. By the way genius, it's "used to", not "use to".
When will you guys just admit that Halo is a great franchise? Just admit it already.
If this article were the other way around, then it would be the greatest thing in the world. Just because the 360 dominated in both categories, you say it's crap.
From a consumer end, of course I'm going to say it should be free. From a business end, I can understand why they do it. Supply and demand. As long as people are willing to pay for it, why not charge for it.
I will say though that online services can only have so many features. Right now, Live has more features than the competition, so it can be justified to charge a fee for it. Eventually though, I predict PSN will be virtually the same as Live because they will pretty mu...
I love it when MS steals franchises from Sony. Oh wait, they can't steal franchises from Sony, because all of the former PS exclusives belong to third parties. But nevertheless, it puts a smile on my face.
Really? Like what?
