#2 - You Have Epilepsy. How did that make it all the way up to number 2? I can think of plenty of reasons to dislike any console more than "you have epilepsy".
I don't remember seeing the Top 25 Reasons to Ditch Sony on this website. Anyway, here it is http://www.gamedaily.com/ar...
I like #'s 11 and 10:
11. Little to no graphical difference
Sony loves to talk about how powerful PS3 is, but the majority of the games on the console look just as good (sometimes better) on Xbox 360. So don't plunk down t...
It will have an impact, but not as much as the Slim will, at least for the time being. I say that simply because there already was a 360 at the $299 price point while the Slim marks the first time that a PS3 model is at the $299 price point.
Will it boost sales? It already has, remember the Amazon movers and shakers list? It went to number two, behind some Wii game that casual players will buy and quickly get bored with.
That's not true, the Slim is way faster. I threw both a PS3 and a PS3 Slim down the stairs and due to the Slim being more aerodynamic, it got there in record time.
He sure is Ken, and he's waiting for you! Oh but wait, there's something already up there. What is it? Why, it's a...PS3 motion wand! I wonder what color the orb currently is...
To the person who disagreed with me: I really will play it eventually. Really. Honest Injun.
You're wrong Ken, the YLOD is as big as ever, in fact over 10%. Remember the article? Of course you do. Unlike newer 360s where the problem has been greatly decreased, yet still comes with a bench-setting three year warranty anyway! By the way, the article is crap and neither number is right. But since people like to keep saying 54.2%, I'm here to remind you that over 10% failure rates makes an electronic device unreliable as well.
The best console. The best controller. The ...
Nice! Not that I'll play it anytime soon since I just wrapped up TLAD, but I'll get to it eventually.
As a Gold member, I wouldn't really care if they were free to Silver members or not. This is just another perk to being a Gold member. Hey, believe me, I would love for Live to be free, but since it's not, there should be perks that Gold members have that Silver members do not. Now if MS were to charge Gold members extra for the two services, which I don't believe that they are, then I would have a problem with that.
I think he meant to say Sony is a distant second in profits. Actually that would be incorrect too, because that would imply that the PS3 is actually making a profit.
Wow, that's a lot of storage. I have a 120GB and I can tell you that the only way I'll ever fill that bad boy up is if I never delete a demo, video, or installed game, and even then it'll be tough.
"There are a number of potential reasons why Microsoft's price drop is not having the same effect on sales as the PS3 Slim..."
The biggest reason is, there was already a 360 at the $299 price point. Anyone who wanted to get a 360 for $299 could've previously gotten the Pro, it just so happens now they can get an Elite for that much. If I'm not mistaken, $299 is a new low price point for the PS3, so of course it's going to have more of an impact.
Shut up you anti-American piece of sh!t. America is the greatest country in the world. I wish America wouldn't be the world police, but we kind've have to since many countries don't know how to act.
On another note: Greenberg speaks of consoles that will never have to be replaced. That will come only when we have in game graphics that look like you're playing a movie and can't tell the difference. I think we're still at least two, maybe three gens away, but closer than we thi...
PS3 is still selling more. The movers and shakers list simply shows a jump in sales for a product, not overall sales ranking. I predict that the PS3 will sell more than the 360 for awhile...this is catch up time for it. However, I predict in the long run, especially with future Halo games, Alan Wake, and Natal, the 360 will stay ahead of the PS3 overall, or at least finish respectably close for entering into a market once dominated by Sony.
EDIT: Wow, this is weird...I was ju...
DeadMetalHead - Those "issues" weren't enough to name, were they? Not to mention, look at the pics yourself. The 360 versions looks better in all but two.
And most places, including IGN say that the 360 graphics are a little crisper and give it the edge. I'm pretty sure IGN carries a bit more clout in the industry than lensoftruth...there's no spinning that!
You guys are blind and retarded if you think the PS3 version has better graphics. Like 95% of other games, the 360 version has more detail and better textures. There is but one reason more people are buying Batman for the PS3...the Joker level. Yes, I know that one review gave the graphics edge to the PS3 version because the PS3 version was zoomed out a little more - probably to hide the lack of textures compared to the 360 version...but many other sources, including IGN gave the slight gr...
I'm guessing they're doing it to make up for the cost of including the wireless adapter in the package. The PS3 doesn't include HDMI cables (or if it does it didn't for the longest time) so why all the slamming? Oh yeah, because it's MS. People like to claim that the media and Internet is against Sony. That's bull. If anything, there's more hate for MS out there.
Who cares. Am I the only one who finds humor in this? IT'S A PHOTOSHOP!! Let's not be a bunch of politically correct, overly sensitive sissies, people.
Kill Crow, need I remind you that MS is not the one selling a console at a loss and that they are in the lead. MS is not the one in a desperate situation here. Think before you speak, junior.
