I wish it had twice the install base, but the fact is, it doesn't. 360 just buy more games, period.
I prefer the 360 also, but I wouldn't say the PS3 sucks. It's a great, powerful console. Both MS and Sony work very hard to outdo each other and it shows with how great their products are.
I like Sony (even though I'll take the 360 any day of the week), I just hate Sony fanboys. Scratch that, I don't even hate all Sony fanboys. I just hate the ones who refuse to admit anything good about the 360 and who think that Sony is superior in every single way, which unfortunately, se...
"If Infamous was on the 360 also, it would of sold more." --
Of course this is pure speculation, but it's PROBABLY correct. Some people disagree with that statement, but honestly, how many PS3 versions of games have sold more than their 360 counterparts? Blaz Blue, Tomb Raider (I think)...any thing else? We all know the score is severely lopsided in the 360's favor.
Yeah, Killzone should've absolutely sold more than it did. Proof positive that many people just get it for primarily BluRay. The most hardcore gamers are on the 360.
Xcox, what was the punchline? You have the humor and wit of a 5 year old.
Like I've been saying all along. Natal is going to kick ass!
It was brand loyalty that caused many people to initially get PS3. But didn't the 360 outsell the PS3 these past two years?
Price does play a part in the console wars, and the PS3 will close the gap when it becomes more affordable, but it will still most likely stay in third place. Even if it passes the 360, it won't be by much, and the PS3 will never be the juggernaut that the PS2 was.
MS should be proud for all it has accomplished in two generations, and beating ...
OmarJA...Does the JA stand for jackass? The 360 is absolutely the IT console, especially with Natal, ODST and Halo: Reach on the way.
Mart, totally agreed. Also, thank you Mart for helping to find the perfect job for every PS3 fanboy: donkey ballsack washers. It's an easy job for them and convenient too, since they won't even have to use their hands.
Now tsk tsk dustgavin, how do you know what the demographics are for 360 owners? The only thing that we can definitely conclude judging by sales in America and Japan is that the 360 is the most popular console in America and the PS3 is most popular console in Japan, therefore on the whole, 360 owners have larger genitalia.
On the bright side, $14.38 billion is pretty good in these economic times, and...posting a PROFIT loss, is better then posting losings and being in the red. At least they're still making a profit.
I never claimed to see them all, but when they have the "Lens of Truth" comparisons, most of the time, the 360 versions look slightly better. And you are right that it can work the other way for a more positive score, and sometimes it does, but critics are critics, and they look for every little negative detail.
My narrowminded view of the console wars? As opposed to who? The sea of retards on this board? I have said positive things about the PS3 plenty of times on ...
The only lies are the ones coming out of your pancake face. Do you know what I believe? My eyes! Anyone with decent vision can clearly see that the 360 versions of most games look better. And, as pointed out above, the 360 versions get reviewed more, probably because more people play them. But with the greater number of reviews comes the possibility for the greater amount of scrutiny.
Apple makes great products but I prefer a PC any day. I'd rather have an iPod than a Zune though. You are exactly right, Apple can dish it out, but they can't take it.
The article would've been better if they actually NAMED GAMES instead of just teasing.
Ken, you pancake faced idiot, stop squinting and open your eyes. The RROD was fixed a long time ago, but you retards hold onto that argument because it's all you've got.
It took a class action lawsuit for Sony to fix the PS2, remember that Ken?
No, I'd still pick the 360. I think my previous post sums it up pretty well, and I believe the 360 has the better lineup. There are things I like about the PS3, but I believe the 360 offers the better gaming experience.
I'd still pick the 360. The only thing that I want on PS3 is BluRay and four of its exclusives, but I'm fine without those.
If PS3 had Gears, Halo, Netflix, a controller that actually fits in your hands, better anti-aliasing, and if most of my friends played that instead of 360, then I'd switch.
@Locos85...screw the Gamer Zone, it's more fun over here!
@1.6 - Of course RROD is only possible on the 360...the PS3 doesn't have any rings to turn red. However YLOD is only possible on PS3.
"M$ has been ruining the gaming industry with their dirty tricks this gen."
Not if you have an Xbox. It's called smart business. MS recognized the value of extending games with DLC, and they're able to get DLC for the best games. They recognize that Sony has more in-house studios, so they procure exclusives in other ways. MS is an aggressive company, and it will suit them well in the long run.
I will say though, that I don't think you should be able to p...
