I would like to see Gears remain an Xbox exclusive, but then again, all is fair in love and war.
Obama - I was expecting to click on the link and see a 360 inside of its case frying an egg. Everyone knows that the motherboard and chips inside any computer like device gets really hot, that's why they have to be cooled with fans. The video was unimpressive. You don't think the chips inside some PS3's and computers can't do that? Please. Anything with a video card that's pumping out current gen graphics is going to get really hot.
PS - Obama, I voted for you, but you're no...
"if i knew how 2 give a bubble
i give u 1 " -- Wow, you two are both really retarded.
Exactly. This didn't come as a shocker anyway. They said the Halo engine will receive an update with Halo: Reach, next year. People make too big a deal with native resolution. With upscaling it's hard to tell the difference between native 720 and 1080. You might be able to tell a little with 640P, but the game will still look good and it will be a lot of fun, not to mention a refreshing change of pace for the franchise.
As opposed to the cool-running PS3? You can fry an egg on the PS3.
Vega, you're right, I don't think a lot of Xbox owners care about a Blu-Ray add-on for the 360, I know I don't. But make no mistake, the next Xbox needs Blu-Ray or some other format that allows for mass amounts of data storage comparable to Blu-Ray. The 360 can survive for the rest of the gen on DVD9, even if some games are multi-disc. But next gen, the graphics will be so great that the amount of storage on DVD9 won't cut it.
Of course no one has to worry about that. The nex...
Don't mind El Botto. He's a retard. He says just about every day how MS/Xbox is finished, when he knows it's here to stay for awhile. First Sony, then Google, right El Botto? So when MS is doing well even after Google's OS is released, then what are you going to say?
Is it possible to get enough Gears of War? I think not. Halo rules too, can't wait for ODST and Reach. I read in Game Informer that ODST is "non linear", so now I'm even more excited for it.
I don't know how good the game is, but the art work on the 360 is awesome.
A niche title...Braid? If so, congrats PS3 guys, Braid is a BRILLIANT game, with amazing puzzles, art direction and score. But who knows what it could be.
Starchild, yeah you're right, Halo 3 has some jaggies, and is in need of a graphics update. Thankfully, it's getting one with Halo: Reach.
But you have to admit, the 360 has better antialiasing, and the PS3 has more jaggies in general. It hasn't been nicknamed JaggyStation 3 for nothing.
5 retards disagreed with me, but not one can prove me wrong. There is not one inaccurate thing I said in my last post, and all anyone who doesn't like what I said can do is disagree.
I don't think it'll kill BluRay, but it may force it to lower its prices if Zune video catches on, which is a good thing.
I'm a fan of both digital download and physical media. Digital download is so convenient if you don't feel like going to the video store and you want to watch something you've never seen right that second. Or maybe it's a crappy night and you don't feel like going out into the rain or snow, it's great to have the DD. But then with BluRay, you can buy used...
MS did rush the 360 to market, and hopefully they learned from it...I believe they have, since it cost them a lot of money. Sony had a class action lawsuit against it because of faulty PS2 hardware...every company makes mistakes.
Whether anyone likes it or not, MS is now a powerhouse in the game industry, and they're here to stay for awhile.
"Microsoft also isn't securing exclusives when they end up on the PS3 six months later with better graphics and more content." -- Better graphics? Those glasses on your face must be rose colored. And honestly, on how many occasions has this happened? Not much.
The 360 gets more out of Epic and the UE, so of course Sony fangirls don't like it.
I didn't realize we were talking about the U.S. only. Good, I'm glad the 360 has twice the install base. Hopefully Natal will help make it 3 or 4 times the install base. The 360 will not only continue to sell more games overall, but more games per capita (that means per person, for you Sony fanboys out there).
Sony fanboys, 2006 just called. It wants its RROD argument back.
"What performance?"

Obama, I agree that too many people think the Prez. is responsible for everything. However, he is pushing the universal healthcare package, which includes covering illegals. Obama will do great things too, I'm just not crazy about this.
