I loved Mass Effect, and have very high hopes for ME2. The original had room for improvement (more variety needed for planets and side missions). I like what I hear about how the controls have been reworked to keep the battle pacing more constant, and I like the graphical improvements that they look to have made. Should be a great game.
Take off your fanboy goggles. Take a look at the road in the two games. Which one has greater texture detail? Forza 3 does. Overall, I do think that GT5 looks slightly better, but like I also said in so many words, the two game stack up to each other graphically.
I'm giving the slight nod to GT5 here. I give it the nod, simply because of anti-aliasing, which is surprising because the 360 usually has better AA, hands down. Of course, I'm just judging by the pics, maybe in motion, it is different.
Both games look stunning though IMO. There were some shots where I thought F3 was the better of the two. I was surprised how cartoony the car interior looks in both titles, especially in the 3rd pic down. The camera is zoomed out a little more...
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo . I guess you could say that I'm your stereotypical 1st and 3rd person shooter loving 360 player. I like racers but never buy them.
Necrum, that's one of the reason's why I like the 360 controller much better. Sony copied MS's analog trigger buttons...but if they primarily use the R1 and L1 buttons for triggers, why did they make the L2 and R2 buttons analog?
And oh yeah...360 wins...again. :-)
Saaking, if I asked you to name all of your "AAAA" exclusives, you'll spout off a list where half the games are crap, or at least not AAA. You have MGS4, Uncharted 1&2, Killzone, GT5, LBP...and what else? I threw in a couple for you that aren't even out yet. As for the rest? Go ahead, name them.
By getting down on its knees.
Wow, what a misleading title. I'll bet some owners of a certain console are disappointed.
Saaking, I see on your Gamertag that you've played Fable II. Do you like it? I'm going to be playing that one soon. LOL, I can't believe you own an Xbox. I agree with 2good4U2, if you hate it that much, sell it.
Kleptic, I totally agree and hope that you're right. That is one big advantage that Sony has, the internal game studios. MS needs the same thing. They've been successful relying on third party exclusives, but who knows what the trends will be in the coming years. They need more first party studios to guarantee great exclusives.
Relax Shane, you're just saying that because of a personal hate for MS. Money is the language that corporations speak, and having to set aside a billion dollars, not to mention who knows how many lost sales all of the negative publicity cost them, will leave a stinging memory for them. Many will give them a second chance, but MS knows that they have to improve their image in the eyes of the public.
I plan on getting the next Xbox, but not until I know for a fact that it has a...
In my opinion, since he is a public figure people should be able to post whatever they want about him on Facebook, UNLESS it jeopardizes his safety, i.e. "$50 to punch him in the face", etc. Actual threats or the encouraging of others to commit a violent act should not only be removed from Facebook, but the perpetrators should be punished.
Do these ads have a caption to go along with them? I'm sure they do. I would like to see the caption before making a final verdict.
"Below me, that's an example of a "loyal" fan. lmao. "
-- Nice try with the diversion tactic, but kissmeimgreek has a point.
Hey, what did you expect Greenberg to say? At least MS has that 3 year warranty. It's nice to see that they're supporting the E74 error too. It's about time.
People forget that Sony had its problems with the PS2, to the point of a class action lawsuit. In a way, it's good that MS suffered some negative publicity from the RROD epidemic, because you can damn sure know that MS will put future consoles through the ringer before they put them on the market.
MS+Rockstar = Gay Tony = New and never before published = Xbox 360 exclusive = Sony fanboys pretending they don't want it, yet for some reason are happy at the thought of a bunch of last gen titles coming to PSN.
ODST is a fun game that feels different from the other Halos. Sure, I'd prefer to play as Master Chief, but it's a nice break from the norm that let's you further anticipate the next "regular" Halo game.
I see that the people who took the comparison photos were to lazy to line up the same shots with the same angles for both. This would've been much more helpful.
The authors of the article said, "The lighting is slightly better on the PS3 version, although it does appear a little more jagged that its 360 counterpart.
If forced to choose, we’d probably give the PS3 version the nod, but only by the slenderest of margins. But that’s just us – check out the screens ...
What planet are you from? The 360 version wins as always.
You never know man, the Japs may just fall in love with Natal. Probably not, but then again, they appreciate new and alternative gaming experiences over there.
