Modern Warfare 2 looks like sh!t? I don't think it does.
The article BASICALLY says that both have their pros and cons.
Am I the only one who thinks it sounds childish and gay when people type a comment and then someone else uses terms like "epic fail" and "you fail so much"? I hope you don't talk that way in front of girls and ever expect to get laid.
That being said, yes, you can play on the PC with controllers. But that would require going out and buying a corded controller if you don't have one. That isn't that big of a deal, but then there's the fact that you have to ke...
Not everyone wants to game on their PC. I prefer to do all of my gaming on a console. The PC's best gaming days are behind it, at least for the time being.
If you are one of those people that like to game on both the PC and the console, than maybe the PS3 would be your better bet, but even then, you'll still be missing some great games. I personally couldn't care less what is available on the PC. I'll take the 360 because I like the games you can play on it better. Will yo...
Foliage, I too expect the PS3 to do better, I mean it has to play catch up sometime. But didn't the 360 do better up until this year? I'm pretty sure it did.
Achievements suck and trophies rock...wow, I guess that really is the PS3 perspective.
Maniac Mansion!...with two or three player simultaneous co-op.
Oh yeah, and Doom too.
It would definitely be a great move on MS's part if they did offer a package like that. If they made the standalone Natal cheap, that would be smart too. They could always make it up with software sales.
All I have to say is that increasing the price of Live when the competition is free would be a very unwise move on Microsoft's part. I think they know this, and that is why I don't see it happening, but then again, stranger things have happened.
I've preferred MS all this time because I like the exclusives and especially the controller better, not to mention that most of my friends have the 360 and are on Live. But for $120 a year vs. free, I can get used to an inferior control...
I think TheTruth is right in that a lot of people bought the PS3 for Blu Ray alone. The key word is "bought"...past tense. Now, you can get stand alone Blu Rays for a lot cheaper. People that buy the PS3 today get it for the total package, movies and games.
2010 looks to be a good year for the PS3, but I doubt it'll ever have the market share that the PS2 had. The competition is too strong, and like TheTruth said, so many third party exclusives are now on the 360, and not only that, have the best versions on the 360.
You're the one who's pathetic for trying to convince people that Xbox doesn't have any games, when in fact is has more than the PS3. The upcoming list of games is very impressive too. Not to mention that Live is better than PSN, and there's a lot more to do on the 360's interface.
And yes, the controller is a big reason to stick with the 360. It's so much better than the PS3's controller, which is a 3 gen old design now. People pitch a hissy fit about the original boomerang d...
Really? Are you a programmer? Didn't think so. Any way you slice it, multiplatform games, which make up the overwhelming majority, perform better on the 360. I'm really hoping the X-Engine delivers so it further enhance the graphics of 360 exclusives.
With COD selling like it has, and hitting the mainstream like it has, there are probably a lot of people playing those older 360s that haven't used them in awhile. There are probably still a lot of those older 360s out there that are destined to break eventually.
I was just at Lensoftruth.com where they compare 360 and PS3 games. The current score is 360: 27 vs. PS3: 8. Not only does the 360 have more games, but it usually gets the best version as well.
The PS3 does have the best looking exclusives in terms of graphics though. Not necessarily fun factor, but definitely graphics right now with its exclusives.
I love how you retards always claim to know the "true sales" but never have any evidence to back it up. And it always seems to be PS3 fangirls. Hey guys, get a grip. The PS3 is finally starting to sell well. You can stop falsely accusing VG Chartz of giving bad info. already. How lame.
Whatever happened to real bands playing real music? All that kids know today is the horsecrap that MTV and even Disney puts out. Modern hip hop, Top 40, bubble gum Disney crap all suck.
For you young 'uns, there was a time when MTV kicked ass. It actually played music videos instead of fake reality shows...and the music was actually good. Bands like Metallica, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, etc. made for some great videos. And then...
Yeah you're right. Marcus Fenix doesn't have long enough hair, and he's not wearing enough eyeliner for PS3 fans to want Gears on their console.
I just signed in to check out the new feature a minute ago and everything worked fine for me.
I have to give this one to the PS3, and I don't say that very often.
See, I can admit when a multiplatform game looks better on the PS3, why can't some of you guys do the same when they look better on the 360? Wait, I know why, it's because you'd have to do it for 90% of games.
Don't get all bitter though, the PS3 wins in the exclusive department, at least graphically. I'm hoping the new X-Engine will help level the playing field and make future 360 exclusives look...
Nope, I don't own a PS3 (yet), so I haven't played it. I know it looks amazing, but that doesn't mean every other game looks like crap. MW2 looks amazing, and if you don't think so, then you might as well sell your consoles because most games that come out this gen won't look that good.
