Unless they speak the language, or really like a good kielbasa...probably not much.
It may take a minute....
I'm playing Outlast right now on my PC (trying to anyway...I'm a total wuss). I'll definitely get this on PC as well. Using the 360 controller on the PC version is the perfect combo for my big clunky hands, that can't do KB/M, and struggle with the DS3/DS4.
Before XBOX, I struggled with ALL controllers...the N64 especially. The Controller-S for the original XBOX was the first one that finally felt right to me...and then the 360 made it perfect. I have very large hands....can easily palm an NBA basketball...and the offset joysticks and large, real triggers feel very comfortable and natural. The DS controllers always force my thumbs and fingers into an uncomfortable position, and I feel like I'm trying to strangle a midget.
I'll still get it on X1....and probably PC as well, later (forget that 4k crap though). I'm struggling to enjoy Killzone:SF because I still can't get used to the DS4 controller. Hopefully Dream Gear makes another XBOX-style controller for PS4, like they did for the PS3.
Because Ubisoft has been Nintendo's biggest 3rd party supporter, dating back to the Wii launch...and yet their games haven't sold nearly as well on those platforms. Fact is, you know nothing of the WiiU version, in terms of work they've done on it. Where are the gameplay videos?
You never know...that could be part of the reason they recently added KB/M support. Going forward, it will be up to devs to implement it in games. It was a shame the same was never done with the 360.
When more games begin to utilize Kinect like this, people will understand why MS made it part of the X1 package. This feature alone makes the XBOX version of Project Spark preferable over Win8 PC.
We're all dying to see what's behind the curtain....
Look...we all know what's really happening. If Watchdogs sells well enough on PC/PS4/X1 in the first month, the WiiU version is as good as dead.
Define "run". RYSE, as it is presented on the X1, would in no way be possible on the WiiU. Same goes for KZ:SF on PS4.
The defining difference is the RAM....and it's a big one. The reason so few 3rd party AAA next-gen titles are coming to WiiU is because it's only marginally stronger than the PS3/360, and the gap in available RAM vs PS4/X1 is HUGE.
MS's Surface tablets have outsold the WiiU (which is sad, when you know how bad the Surface has done). This article is a failure.
Seriously? Yes, as someone who's participated in dozens of betas over the years, including the XBOX Live beta, I'm well aware of how betas work. Obviously, I was talking about whoever took the time to write the article, and the person who submitted it as news to N4G. SMH....
First of all, Zombie Studios has been in the gaming industry for 20 years, and have a ton of (mostly bad) games in their portfolio. So let's not pretend they're some little indie dev, just trying to make it.
Second, I played Blacklight Retribution, and IMO it sucked. I also played the 2 'SAW' games they made....which sucked even harder. Back in the day, I played most of their 'Spec Ops' games...which were mostly bad. My comment wasn't "a b...
Are these people really so stupid, that they don't understand what a BETA is?
1080p/60fps doesn't make a good game...something Zombie Studios has yet to make. I'm waiting for the big games for PS4, so I'll pass on this, or maybe check out a used copy from Gamestop down the road.
You don't get it. The ad/poster was designed specifically for the pre-order promotion. It's a GameStop ad, not a publisher promoting their upcoming game. If the WiiU is being excluded from the promotion, it should only be mentioned in the "fine print at the bottom". The fine print should read "Game also coming to WiiU; not part of pre-order promotion". The way they worded it, not actually excluding the WiiU by name, it would be logical to assume it was an e...
WiiU is clearly on the poster that's promoting the pre-order, so I'd say there's been some miscommunication somewhere. If they don't get it cleared up before the game releases, WiiU fans could rightfully cry false advertisement.
Call me crazy, but a fairly high-quality pic of a very real promo of a game, with a name and a promised reveal at E3 2014 is not "rumor or speculation".
Thanks for having a sense of humor...it's a rarity these days. ;)
