Codemasters only knows racing. If they killed the Dirt and GRID franchises, they'd just come back with Dust and CIRCUIT....and the gameplay wouldn't change.
When you think about it, 50% is a BS cop-out....just like when the weather guy gives a 50% chance of rain/snow/storms. Duh...50% literally means "maybe, maybe not", and you can say that ANY day, without even looking out the window. This just means ND is completely non-committal to the idea, as they're neck deep into Uncharted 4 right now (and possibly porting TLOU to PS4).

You have to understand that the type of person who would think that, lives in their room/parent's basement, and NEVER gets out into the real world. It sounds cliche, but in this case it's actually true. It's just like the PC fanatics who claim Skyrim and Crysis on ENB/mods look like "real life". Get out of the house...go for a walk, take in some fresh air and actually pay attention to your environment, because your brain is obviously starved for oxygen.
