Year? This game won't release this year...bank on it. Even if it was ready...and it won't be...Ubisoft will ride Watch Dogs and the next AC through this year, and have The Division and The Crew for next year...and possibly FC4.
Considering what was achieved on such limited hardware, I don't think there's a greater showcase for CE3 than RYSE. It's amazing to play that game, knowing that it's only 900p/30fps...and it's still the most impressive game, visually, this gen. If someone puts that kind of effort into a PC-only game, the sky's the limit.
I swear I remember them saying the same thing about Gears (before it had a name), when people were trying to connect the early UE3 GDC tech demo pics to the upcoming 360 exclusive they were making.
Affordable??? WTF is Sony thinking?!?! They need to get Ken Kutaragi back ASAP, and convince people they should be happy to work another job to afford a Sony product. ◔_◔
Uh...didn't say it did. Metal Gear is Metal Gear....MGS is the remake of Metal Gear. Allow me to explain, since you seem a bit confused...
Metal Gear IS, in fact, the name of the Kojima-created and Konami-published franchise. The original Metal Gear IS, in fact, the first game in that franchise. Just like with GTA, it started out as an overhead perspective 2D game, because at that time, true 3D graphics weren't even possible. The original game was later reimagin...
The Metal Gear series actually started out on Microsoft's MSX-2 Home Computer, and was later ported to the NES. But Sony purists refuse to acknowledge that fact. ;)
I can leave my XB1 on, switch to 360, and not have to worry about any weird cross-platform control issues, because the 360 and X1 controllers don't recognize any other consoles. THAT is what SHOULD happen. Likewise, my PC's 360 wireless controller won't work with a 360, and vice versa.
I never have my PS3 and PS4 on at the same time, so I know I'll never have to worry about this happening...but it's still stupid that Sony would allow this to be possible...
Probably because they plan to have a $100-$150 X-mas bundle, so this offer was about to become redundant and pointless.
LOL...2 disagrees for a QUESTION??? Are you people really that pathetic and retarded here?
Can you even play Steam games without signing in (online)?? I've never looked into offline play, simply because I'm very literally "always online". There have been a few instances where my router connection was cycling right as I tried to open Steam, and it wouldn't open, because it couldn't detect a connection to the internet.
If you actually bothered to watch the interview, he only mentions XBOX fanboys, not Sony/PS4 fanboys, and then addresses fanboys in general...like you.
Needs more sarcasm.
I remember when Ubisoft started this with Rainbow Six Vegas, and the Axe ads. I enjoyed shooting up the standees and lightboxes that displayed the ads....but I didn't "rage" over it. Some people just need to grow up, and find something real, and important, to focus their anger on.
If you have an ISP that most people have never heard of...you're probably going to have problems. I've had Comcast for over 20 years...never had an issue with them (although I'm still upset over them recently unlocking their long-dormant data cap).
Maybe the "1" meant "1 hour".
No waiting in line to buy a new game?
Why 74 fps? Because that was the sweet spot for my particular hardware config (at the time). Apparently you only game on console, since you had to ask that question.
@ darthv72
LOL....the WiiU NEEDED it. 32 GB is little more than one game.
Or, it's a clue....as in THE MIND. ;)
I'm playing through KZ:SF right now, and the only thing about that game that couldn't be done on PS3 is the AA. Second Son looks great, for an open world game...but the level of environmental detail is last-gen, compared to RYSE. BF4 looked great at times, and like a 360 game at other times...so it's tough to compare. And why even bring up last-gen PC games, when I'm talking about this gen, and the FUTURE of PC games??
