Piracy is just an easy excuse to use when your profits aren't as rediculously high as they hoped for. example: crytek, "we sold little because of piracy" WRONG! you sold little because less than 20% of americans who had computers were able to only play it on the lowest settings. as it is hardly anyone can play it at reasonable speed on its highest settings.

1. it was a huge mistake to limit the number of computers that can play crysis to 20% of american computers. yet the lack of sales wasnt their fualt according to them, it was piracies fault
although its been writen into us that piracy is bad it's actually very benificial especially to music artists, you know, the people we want out money going to. instead of all the money going to the publishers the money all goes to the music artists, we got what we wanted. the publishers can't handle that and are now getting pissy. if pirate bay lose we all lose. if pirate bay lose then the publishers will just have to adapt by giving special content etc

lets say every game is 800 points (8$), you can buy 1000 (10$) point cards only, once u buy a game you have 200 left over and you can't do anything with it, so in reality, your paying 10$ for an 8$ game, but the way its done it tricks us into thinking we only paid 8 when we actually paid 10.
